Chris Herndon 2021 Outlook: Ready To Capitalize On New Opportunity?
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings tight end Chris Herndon will begin his fourth year in the league during the 2021-22 campaign. After the 25-year-old spent his first three seasons with the New York Jets, racking up a total of 71 catches for 796 yards and seven touchdowns, he was traded to Minnesota during the preseason. Herndon has battled injuries and legal issues over the years. However, he will have a shot to make a name for himself by attempting to fill the void left by Irv Smith Jr. (knee), who will miss the season because of meniscus surgery. Still, Herndon will have to compete against Tyler Conklin for targets, so he's not worth much outside of a late-round draft pick in deeper fantasy leagues, at least not at the moment.
