Tyler Reddick of 23XI Racing had an up-and-down performance during the Anduril 250 Race the Base at Naval Base Coronado's Street Course. Reddick was originally slated to start 17th, but had to start from the rear after his team made unapproved adjustments before the start of the race. In the first stage, Reddick took the entire stage to move through the field as he went from the back to end the stage in 12th. Due to pit stops in the second stage and especially before the end of the stage, Reddick ended up falling back through the field and ended up in 30th. In the final stage, Reddick ended up pitting midway through the stage on lap 60 as a caution came out for fluid on the track. Reddick's timing of this pit stop allowed him to move to the front of the pack, and by lap 64, he passed Carson Hocevar and took the lead. From there, Reddick fought for the win with his teammate Corey Heim. Reddick and Heim fought for the win against each other until lap 74, when Reddick suffered a flat tire. The No. 45 Toyota driver then fell back and eventually placed 25th. With his finish of 25th, Reddick now sits only eight points ahead of Denny Hamlin for the regular-season points lead.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
