Ladd McConkey's Red-Zone Usage Remains a Concern Heading into Week 4
Ladd McConkey is still getting plenty of opportunities heading into Week 4 against the New York Giants, even though his fantasy numbers haven't reflected that so far. McConkey caught four of seven targets for 41 yards in the team's 23-20 win over the Denver Broncos, including a crucial late-game catch that helped seal the victory. However, his single red-zone target and 9.0 aDOT over three games indicate he is not being used in high-leverage scoring or big-play situations. The Giants' vulnerable secondary allows the fourth-most passing yards, which could lead to more volume for the entire receiving corps. While RotoBaller ranks McConkey as WR15, he has been outperformed by teammates Quentin Johnston and Keenan Allen and should be more of a WR3/FLEX option until his red-zone targets improve.
