Jakobi Meyers 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook: Intriguing WR4
7 months agoAfter four years in a New England Patriots uniform, Jakobi Meyers spent 2023 as a Las Vegas Raider, fairing well in his first season in the black and grey. Despite inconsistencies on a game-to-game basis, Meyers missed just one contest in 2023, turning in a WR24 finish in half and full-point PPR formats. However, the inconsistent nature of the wide receiver's play cannot be attributed to him alone. Meyers dealt with a turnstile of quarterbacks last season, including the likes of Jimmy Garoppolo, Aidan O'Connell, and even Brian Hoyer mixing into action. It's assumed that 2024 should provide more stability for Meyers, presuming O'Connell now can beat out newly acquired Gardner Minshew II to be Las Vegas' top signal caller. O'Connell was at least competent in the back half of the season in 2023. Davante Adams is still the alpha in Las Vegas, but Meyers is WR46 off the board in NFFC drafts (#113 overall). This price is echoed in his RotoBaller WR ranking (WR48), but even with the additions of Michael Gallup and rookie TE Brock Bowers, Meyers should still serve as the unquestioned WR2 on this team.
