Mason Jones Suffers Second-Round TKO Loss

Mason Jones suffered a second-round TKO loss to MarQuel Mederos on the main card of UFC Sacramento on Saturday. It was an exciting, back-and-forth fight where both men slugged it out for a round and a half. Jones tried to push forward and walked into a vicious elbow that hurt him. Mederos and Jones then brawled, and Mederos landed a few more elbows to finish Jones via standing TKO. In 7:07 of action, Mederos landed a takedown and 77 significant strikes. With the loss, Jones dropped to 18-3 as a pro and is now 4-3 in the UFC.--Alen Kurbasic
