When is Logan Henderson getting called up? Will Henderson get promoted in June 2025? Read about this top fantasy baseball prospect outlook heading into Week 9.
The Milwaukee Brewers have dealt with countless injuries to their starting rotation to begin the year. Brandon Woodruff (shoulder), Nestor Cortes (elbow), Aaron Civale (hamstring), and Jose Quintana (shoulder) have all missed time this year due to injuries. As a result, the Brewers called up their No. 12 prospect to help fill those innings.
After just a few outings, Logan Henderson emerged as a reliable arm in this Milwaukee rotation. He had a 1.71 ERA and 29 strikeouts in his first four major league starts. With the rotation getting healthier, though, the Brewers decided to option Henderson back down to Triple-A on May 26.
So, when can we expect Henderson back with the major league club? Let's dive in and find out.

Logan Henderson Prospect Update for Fantasy Baseball
Henderson got off to a solid start at Triple-A this season, which included tossing five scoreless innings with eight strikeouts in consecutive outings on April 3 and April 9. That earned him a promotion to the major league roster a week later. The right-hander then tossed six innings of one-run ball with nine strikeouts in his MLB debut against the Athletics on April 20.
Although the Brewers sent him back down following that start, Henderson was called up again a few weeks later when Quintana landed on the 15-day IL on May 14. The 23-year-old then proceeded to allow just three runs over his next three starts. He struck out at least six batters in all three of those outings and threw five innings of one-run ball with six punchouts his last time out on May 25.

Unfortunately, Henderson was optioned down again a few days ago. With Civale back from the IL and Quintana nearing a return, the Brewers decided to send one of their top pitching prospects back to Triple-A.
Logan Henderson Outlook for Fantasy Baseball
No one really knows when Henderson will be called up again by the Brewers. Quintana should re-enter the rotation in the coming days, and Woodruff is expected to make his season debut sometime in early June. Therefore, it could be weeks before we see the young right-hander pitch again in the majors.

When Quintana is activated off the 15-day IL, the Brewers rotation will consist of the left-hander, Civale, Freddy Peralta, Chad Patrick, and Quinn Priester. Woodruff will then likely take Priester or Patrick's spot in the rotation following his return. So, there isn't a specific timeline on when we could expect Henderson back with the Brewers.
However, he is a solid stash candidate in most fantasy leagues, considering how he pitched to begin his major league career. The 23-year-old allowed just four runs across his first 21 innings (1.71 ERA).
