With another month about to begin, it's a great time to produce another weekly update to my rest-of-season fantasy baseball top 300 ranks. Those of you near the top of the standings may feel invincible, while those at the bottom may feel lost in the dark. We're here for those who want to keep on fighting and aren't out to coast on autopilot or accept early defeat.
Some of you are getting Wyatt Langford and Spencer Strider back, while others are hoping for more exciting promotions on the horizon. Most of you are affected by injuries to Garrett Crochet, Francisco Lindor, Eugenio Suarez, Pete Fairbanks, Trevor Rogers, Casey Mize, Giancarlo Stanton, Kodai Senga, Max Muncy (A's), Clayton Beeter, Caleb Thielbar, and more. The IL bug can strike at any time.
As the last April rest-of-season update, we are still influenced by some preseason ranks. Don't forget that last April saw Vinnie Pasquantino produce a 49 wRC+ (130 from May 1 on), Chris Sale had a 4.84 ERA, and Luke Jackson had eight saves. These rankings will be updated every week throughout the season, so some of these situations are very fluid.
