Seth Quinn - RotoBaller

20 articles

I have been following sports since I was born, with the Patriots always being a big part of my life since 2001. It didn't take me long to find fantasy sports back in 2009, despite being a young kid. Since I realized it was possible during my senior year of high school, I've been writing about sports for a variety of sites. Specifically with fantasy football, I started with Fighting Chance Fantasy in my freshman year of college, and started writing for Rotoballer after my senior year. I have a background in both watching football film and statistical analysis, as I worked for Sports Info Solutions as a football data scout, and studied sport analytics as a major in four years of college at Syracuse Univeristy. I also minored in writing, and studied sports journalism for a year of grad school at SU as well. Sports have always been a primary focus of my life, making me an expert on multiple sports, but despite never playing it, I consider myself an NFL expert, especially when it comes to fantasy football. Considering I've spent more years of my life playing fantasy football than not, it would be hard for me not to be an expert at this point. I look forward to producing more content for RotoBaller going forward. I can be reached on Twitter/X @SethFQuinn.

Fantasy Football Injury Reports: Friday Week 18 Updates for Tee Higgins, Chase Brown, George Kittle, Tyreek Hill, and More

The 2024 NFL season is in its last week, which means most fantasy leagues have concluded. However, some leagues do play on to Week 18, so for those still playing, this week is extremely important to keep tabs on given all the players sitting. Of all weeks, this week is the worst week to get […]

Is Kyren Williams Starting and Playing This Week? Week 18 Fantasy Football Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks

The Los Angeles Rams have clinched a spot in the NFL playoffs and the NFC west division title. They are guaranteed to host a home playoff game in the first round of the postseason, but the team still has one more game left in the regular season—a Week 18 meeting with the Seattle Seahawks. A […]

Tight End Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks for NFL Week 18

One distinct advantage the Steelers have heading into Saturday is at tight end. Pat Freiermuth enters the contest as the TE10, finishing the 17-week fantasy season with 145.8 fantasy points, an av...

Brenton Strange Blanked In Victory Over Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange, who has been plagued by inconsistency as a starter since Evan Engram suffered a season-ending injury, finished with zero fantasy points in a 20-13 win over the Tennessee Titans. Strange coming into the game was likely considered by some fantasy managers as a potential starting tight end as a […]

Tank Bigsby Solid In Backup Role In Week 17 Victory

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby was out touched by teammate Travis Etienne Jr. in a 20-13 win over the Tennessee Titans. He finished with 11 carries for 33 yards. Bigsby has had an interesting season. Etienne Jr. has struggled, opening the door for Bigsby to take over as starter. He shined early on in […]

Travis Etienne Jr. Totals 75 Yards In Victory Over Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. put up 75 total yards on 16 touches in a 20-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The 25-year-old back out of Clemson finished with 15 carries for 49 yards and one catch for 26 yards. Etienne Jr. once again got a larger share of backfield touches than teammate […]

Parker Washington Scores Goal-Line Touchdown In Week 17 Victory

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington salvaged a quiet fantasy day with a short touchdown in Week 17 in a 20-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The young receiver finished with three catches for 31 yards and a touchdown from two yards out in the second quarter. With Mac Jones under center, the offense has […]

Brian Thomas Jr. Dominates Titans In Week 17 Victory

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. was stellar once again in a 20-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans. He finished with seven catches for 91 yards and a touchdown. The rookie receiver has been a WR1 fantasy option over the back half of the season despite some more difficult matchups. It is a common […]

Cam Little Not Good Enough For Fantasy Championships In Week 17

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little should not be heavily considered by managers in fantasy championships in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans. The rookie kicker has had a solid season, but his fantasy output has been greatly limited by the Jaguars offense. When the Jaguars faced the Titans back in Week 14, they only scored […]

Jaguars D/ST A Mid-Tier Streaming Option Against Titans

The Jacksonville Jaguars defense/special teams unit is a decent streaming option in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans. Last time they faced the Titans in Week 14, they only gave up 6 points and got two sacks. The Titans offense has been one of the friendliest to fantasy defenses this season, so the Jaguars D/ST […]

Parker Washington Lacking Upside In Week 17

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington does not get the targets or have the big-play ability to be considered a reliable fantasy option in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans. The young receiver flashed back in Week 13 against the Houston Texans with a six catch, 103 yard, and a touchdown performance. Other than that, […]

Tank Bigsby A Touchdown-Dependent Flex In Week 17

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby has decent potential as a flex option, but is a bit touchdown reliant in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans. The second-year back out of Auburn has had an up-and-down season, having some big games and some letdown games. The main road block he has faced, besides small injuries, […]

Travis Etienne Jr. A Flex, At Best, Against Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. is a decent start, but not ideal in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans. The 25-year-old back gets a slight boost in PPR, as his role while playing with Tank Bigsby seems to be the passing down back along with a random number of carries. Given how the […]

Brian Thomas Jr. Lone Bright Spot For Jags In Week 17

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is a must-start in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans. The rookie receiver has been sensational as of late, not caring how difficult his opponent is or who is throwing him the ball. Against the Titans in Week 14, BTJ put up eight catches for 86 yards. He […]

Mac Jones Too Inconsistent To Start In Week 17

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones is not a great start in Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans. The former Patriot had a solid outing last week against the Raiders, but he struggled mightily the last time he faced the Titans in Week 14. He threw two interceptions and no touchdowns, leading the team to just […]

Brenton Strange Cleared For Week 17, A Risky Start In Rematch With Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange (shoulder) doesn't carry an injury designation against the Tennessee Titans for Week 17. Strange was limited earlier in the week with a shoulder injury, but is all systems go after logging a full practice on Friday. He is tough to trust in fantasy championship lineups in Week 17. The […]

Fantasy Football Injury Reports: Friday Week 17 Updates for Jalen Hurts, Alvin Kamara, James Conner, Davante Adams, and More

The 2024 NFL season is just about over, which means fantasy championships are here. The ultimate goal of winning a fantasy championship is within the grasp of many players. Now is the worst time possible to get complacent and miss out on injury news for key players on your team. In the final week of […]

Thursday Night Football Start 'Em Sit 'Em - Seahawks vs. Bears

Kenneth Walker will not play in Week 17. He has not practiced this week, and could not finish the Week 16 game against Minnesota. Charbonnet will assume a full-time role as he has in the four game...

Tight End Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks for NFL Week 17

The Kansas City Chiefs are the Christmas present that keeps on giving. At least when it comes to surrendering fantasy production to the tight-end position. On the season, Kansas City has allowed a...

Brian Thomas Jr. Dominant Once Again In Week 16

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. was stellar again in Week 16 in a 19-14 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The rookie receiver finished with nine catches for 132 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown was for 62 yards late in the third quarter. BTJ has proven to be a top young […]

Mac Jones Mediocre In Loss To Raiders

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones had a decent outing in a 19-14 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The former Patriot finished with 25 completions on 39 attempts for 247 yards and a touchdown. Jones went back to his previous ways of struggling to lead the Jaguars offense to a significant point total, but he […]

Tank Bigsby Scores Goal-Line Touchdown In Week 16 Loss

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby had a solid fantasy outing in a 19-14 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Bigsby finished with 12 carries for 50 yards and a touchdown and one catch for one yard. The young back from Auburn out touched and was more efficient than teammate Travis Etienne Jr. He finished […]

Travis Etienne Jr. Inefficient In Loss To Raiders

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. was out-touched by teammate Tank Bigsby and didn't do much with the touches he got in a 19-14 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The 25-year-old back finished with nine carries for 22 yards and two catches for 15 yards. Etienne Jr. was overshadowed by Bigsby, who received […]

Jaguars D/ST A Decent Streaming Option Against Raiders

The Jacksonville Jaguars defense/special teams unit is worth considering for Week 16. The Jaguars face the Las Vegas Raiders this week, who allowed the Falcons D/ST to have a fantastic fantasy outing last week. While Aidan O'Connell is expected to start instead of Desmond Ridder, that shouldn't change much in the eyes of fantasy managers. […]

Cam Little A Decent Starter In Week 16 Against Raiders

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little is a better option than usual in Week 16 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Against kickers in fantasy, the Raiders have been the worst this season, making Little an interesting streaming option. Mac Jones and the Jaguars offense is difficult to trust in the fantasy playoffs, but the Raiders are […]

Parker Washington Tough To Trust In Week 16

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington is a difficult player for fantasy managers in the playoffs to feel good about starting in Week 16 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders serve as a good matchup for the young receiver, but Washington has been overshadowed by Brian Thomas Jr. and Brenton Strange ever since he […]

Brenton Strange Cleared For Week 16, A Top Streaming Option Against Raiders

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange (shoulder) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite being limited in practice with a shoulder injury this week, Strange was removed from the injury report on Friday, and all systems go for Sunday's clash against the Raiders. Strange is a great option […]

Travis Etienne Jr. A Flex With Extra Value In PPR Leagues

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. is a decent flex option in Week 16 against the Las Vegas Raiders. He has been more heavily involved in the passing game as of late and even got more carries than fellow back Tank Bigsby in Week 15. However, that doesn't necessarily mean Etienne Jr. will dominate […]

Brian Thomas Jr. A Top Fantasy Receiving Option Against Raiders

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is a must-start in Week 16 against the Las Vegas Raiders. In an otherwise awful year for the Jaguars offense, BTJ has been a lone bright spot. Last week against the New York Jets, he put up a whopping 10 catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns, making […]

Tank Bigsby A Risky Flex Play In Week 16

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby is a flex option, at best, in Week 16 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Bigsby was demoted to a backup role behind Travis Etienne Jr. in Week 15, making it hard to trust him in fantasy going forward. The Raiders do serve as a good matchup and potentially an […]
