Seth Quinn - RotoBaller

267 articles

I have been following sports since I was born, with the Patriots always being a big part of my life since 2001. It didn't take me long to find fantasy sports back in 2009, despite being a young kid. Since I realized it was possible during my senior year of high school, I've been writing about sports for a variety of sites. Specifically with fantasy football, I started with Fighting Chance Fantasy in my freshman year of college, and started writing for Rotoballer after my senior year. I have a background in both watching football film and statistical analysis, as I worked for Sports Info Solutions as a football data scout, and studied sport analytics as a major in four years of college at Syracuse Univeristy. I also minored in writing, and studied sports journalism for a year of grad school at SU as well. Sports have always been a primary focus of my life, making me an expert on multiple sports, but despite never playing it, I consider myself an NFL expert, especially when it comes to fantasy football. Considering I've spent more years of my life playing fantasy football than not, it would be hard for me not to be an expert at this point. I look forward to producing more content for RotoBaller going forward. I can be reached on Twitter/X @SethFQuinn.

Cam Little A Subpar Starter Against Jets

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little is difficult to trust for the fantasy playoffs in Week 15 against the New York Jets. The rookie kicker has had a good season and looks like he will stick around for the foreseeable future, but given all of the offensive injuries in Jacksonville, it is hard to see the […]

Brian Thomas Jr. A WR2 Despite Otherwise Lackluster Jags Offense

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. will look to match his Week 14 performance in Week 15 against the New York Jets. The rookie receiver finished with eight catches and 86 yards, most of which came in the fourth quarter. Given the Jaguars offense moved the ball much better when BTJ got more involved […]

Brenton Strange A Solid Streaming Option Against Jets

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange can be a decent option in Week 15 against the New York Jets for fantasy managers dealing with tight end injuries. Starting tight end Evan Engram is out for the season, meaning Strange has a chance to step up. Given Engram only put up four catches for 33 yards […]

Travis Etienne Jr. A Decent Flex In PPR Leagues Against Jets

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. was heavily involved in the passing game in Week 14, and that likely won't change in Week 15 against the New York Jets. With Mac Jones under center and multiple passing options out with injuries, Etienne Jr. emerged as a top target, putting up 50 yards on four […]

Tank Bigsby A Flex Play Given Potential Volume In Week 15

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby should get a good dose of carries in Week 15 against the New York Jets. Bigsby received 18 carries compared to fellow back Travis Etienne Jr.'s four carries in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans. Given Bigsby dominated the rushing volume while Etienne Jr. got more work in the […]

Mac Jones Best Left On Benches For Fantasy Playoffs

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones will likely match his Week 14 performance in Week 15 against the New York Jets. The Jets are similar to the Titans in that they haven't been good this year record-wise but have been good against the pass. Jones finished with 220 yards and zero passing touchdowns against the Titans, […]

Fantasy Football Injury Reports: Friday Week 15 Updates for Breece Hall, Kenneth Walker III, Tony Pollard, D'Andre Swift, and More

The 2024 NFL season is nearing its end, which means the fantasy playoffs have begun. Teams have reached the playoffs, completing step one of the ultimate goal of winning a championship. Now is not the time to get complacent and miss out on injury news for key players on your team. In what is the […]

Thursday Night Football Start ‘Em Sit ‘Em - Rams vs. 49ers

Kyren Williams was firmly back in bell-cow status after conceding about a third of the snaps to Blake Corum in Week 13. Williams played 83% of snaps against the Buffalo Bills and touched the ball ...

Tight End Start 'Em Sit 'Em Picks for NFL Week 15

This season, Carolina is allowing 16.82 fantasy points per game to the position, which is the most in the league. It has also allowed a league-high 10 touchdown receptions and the 772 receiving ya...

Parker Washington Comes Back Down To Earth In Week 14

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington did not do much in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans. He finished with two catches for 15 yards on just two targets. Washington had a breakout game last week against the Houston Texans, catching six passes for 103 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets. However, he earned […]

Evan Engram Quiet Against Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram had a quiet day against the Tennessee Titans in Week 14. He finished with four catches on six targets for 33 yards. It was always possible for Engram to have a quiet day with backup quarterback Mac Jones under center. 7.3 PPR fantasy points isn't the worst for a […]

Tank Bigsby Earns Huge Share Of Backfield Touches In Week 14

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby was the lead back in a 10-6 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The former Auburn back finished with 18 carries for 55 yards and a touchdown, as well as one catch for seven yards. Bigsby out-touched fellow back Travis Etienne Jr. 19 to eight but was less efficient with […]

Travis Etienne Jr. More Involved As Receiver Than Rusher In Week 14

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. served as the pass-catching back and complement to Tank Bigsby in a 10-6 win over the Tennessee Titans. The former first-round back out of Clemson finished with an efficient 20 yards on four carries and 50 yards on four receptions. While it's not ideal for Etienne Jr. fantasy […]

Brian Thomas Jr. Dominant Late In Win Over Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. started slow but finished strong in a 10-6 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The rookie receiver finished with eight receptions and 86 yards on 12 targets, nine of which came in the fourth quarter. BTJ has been boom-or-bust for a lot of the season, so it was looking […]

Mac Jones Struggles With Turnovers In Week 14 Win

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones led the team to a 10-6 victory over the Tennessee Titans despite a mediocre performance. The former Patriot finished with 23 completions on 31 attempts for 220 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions. The Jaguars were able to move the ball decently well, but struggled to get in the end […]

Cam Little Tough To Trust Against Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little is a below-average kicking option in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans. Little has been accurate at least this season, hitting all of his extra points and 17 of 19 field goals. His longest field goal made this season is 59 yards, so he has the leg to put up […]

Evan Engram A Solid Start In Week 14

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram should serve as a safety valve for Mac Jones in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans. The Titans, despite their 3-9 record, have been good against the pass in fantasy, both against tight ends and wide receivers. However, that shouldn't stop Engram from having a decent day, especially in […]

Travis Etienne Jr. Has Limited Upside Against Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. should continue his underwhelming play against the Tennessee Titans in Week 14. Backup running back Tank Bigsby has been banged up recently but is completely off the injury report and should eat more into Etienne Jr.'s touches this week after a 16-8 touch split last week. While it […]

Tank Bigsby Has Potential For More Work In Week 14

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby should fare better in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans than last week. Bigsby has been struggling with injuries but is completely off the injury report this week. He is back to splitting work as the backup for Travis Etienne Jr. after putting up 28 yards on seven carries […]

Brian Thomas Jr. A High-Upside, Low-Floor Option In Week 14

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. has the same upside that he usually does, but with Mac Jones under center, his floor is lower than usual against the Tennessee Titans. BTJ did have four catches for 76 yards and a touchdown last week against the Houston Texans, but he also had his lowest catch […]

Mac Jones Difficult To Trust Against Titans

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones performed well in relief of Trevor Lawrence but could struggle once again in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans. Despite the Titans being one of the worst teams in the NFL, they have a solid pass defense, meaning they could make things difficult for Jones and the Jaguars passing attack. […]

Parker Washington Looking To Build On Breakout Performance

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington will try to match his performance from last week in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans. With Gabe Davis and Christian Kirk out for the rest of the season, Washington stepped up in Week 13, producing six catches for 103 yards against the Houston Texans. That came despite Trevor […]

Fantasy Football Injury Reports: Friday Week 14 Updates for CeeDee Lamb, Breece Hall, Malik Nabers, Kenneth Walker III, and More

The 2024 NFL season is nearing its end, and the fantasy playoffs are about to start. Many teams are fighting for final playoff spots and can't afford to miss injury news for key players on their team. In what is the final week of the regular season in most fantasy leagues, there are many impactful […]

Thursday Night Football Start 'Em Sit 'Em - Packers vs. Lions

Tight End Start 'Em Sit 'Em Picks for NFL Week 14

Only the Bengals and the Panthers have allowed more than the seven receiving touchdowns to opposing tight ends that the Raiders have. Five of those seven touchdown receptions have occurred over th...

Brian Thomas Jr. Stellar Once Again Against Texans

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. returned to stellar form in Week 13 against the Houston Texans. He finished with 76 yards and a touchdown on four receptions. The rookie was third on the team in receptions behind Evan Engram and Parker Washington who combined for 13 catches, but was second on the team […]

Parker Washington Breaks Out In Week 13

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington surpassed 100 yards receiving in Week 13 against the Houston Texans. With Gabe Davis and Christian Kirk out due to injury, Washington was the clear next man up heading into this game. He took advantage of the opportunity, producing 103 yards, six receptions, and a touchdown and led the […]

Evan Engram Paces Team In Receptions In Week 13

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram finished with seven catches, which led the team in Week 13 against the Houston Texans. While from a PPR standpoint Engram's performance was solid, he only had 41 yards and no touchdowns, so better efficiency and red-zone usage will be necessary for sustained fantasy success going forward. Quarterback Trevor […]

Tank Bigsby Solid In Limited Touches Against Texans

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby only touched the ball eight times, putting up 28 rushing yards and seven receiving yards against the Houston Texans in Week 13. Bigsby entered the week questionable with an ankle injury, so it wasn't too surprising his workload was limited. That also seemed to limit his explosiveness, as he […]

Travis Etienne Jr. Has Mediocre Performance In Week 13

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. continued to build on his underwhelming season against the Houston Texans in Week 13. He finished with 46 yards rushing on 13 carries and 12 yards receiving on three receptions. Another single-digit fantasy performance for the 25-year-old back means once again his fantasy managers are left regretting picking […]
