Seth Quinn - RotoBaller

306 articles

I have been following sports since I was born, with the Patriots always being a big part of my life since 2001. It didn't take me long to find fantasy sports back in 2009, despite being a young kid. Since I realized it was possible during my senior year of high school, I've been writing about sports for a variety of sites. Specifically with fantasy football, I started with Fighting Chance Fantasy in my freshman year of college, and started writing for Rotoballer after my senior year. I have a background in both watching football film and statistical analysis, as I worked for Sports Info Solutions as a football data scout, and studied sport analytics as a major in four years of college at Syracuse Univeristy. I also minored in writing, and studied sports journalism for a year of grad school at SU as well. Sports have always been a primary focus of my life, making me an expert on multiple sports, but despite never playing it, I consider myself an NFL expert, especially when it comes to fantasy football. Considering I've spent more years of my life playing fantasy football than not, it would be hard for me not to be an expert at this point. I look forward to producing more content for RotoBaller going forward. I can be reached on Twitter/X @SethFQuinn.

Brian Thomas Jr. Potential WR1 Overall Against Panthers

The Jacksonville Jaguars start off the season with a fantastic matchup against the Carolina Panthers, which is great news for Brian Thomas Jr. fantasy managers. The second-year receiver was stellar last year, especially down the stretch, despite catching passes from Mac Jones. With Trevor Lawrence back at QB and offensive-minded Liam Coen at head coach, […]

Bhayshul Tuten a Boom-or-Bust Flex in Week 1

The Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Carolina Panthers in what should be a run-heavy game. That is good news for rookie running back Bhaysul Tuten. Tuten was selected in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft, which is significant given Liam Coen took over as head coach this offseason. That means the athletic rookie […]

Tank Bigsby a Decent Flex Option Against Panthers

The Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, a team whose defense struggled to stop anyone last year. Under new head coach Liam Coen, Tank Bigsby and the Jacksonville run game should start the season strong. Travis Etienne Jr. seems like the favorite to start in the backfield, but until the season […]

Travis Etienne Jr. a Solid Flex Option in Great Matchup

The Jacksonville Jaguars face the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, a team whose defense gave up fantasy points for fun last season. That means the Jaguars running game, under new head coach Liam Coen, could be in for a big day. Travis Etienne Jr. seems like the primary option out of the backfield, but until […]

Trevor Lawrence a Low-End QB1 in Prime Matchup

The Jacksonville Jaguars and their new look coaching staff take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, who had inarguably the worst defense in football last year. That means quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who has underwhelmed both in real football and fantasy football throughout his career, has a chance to start off the season strong. Lawrence […]

Trevor Lawrence Productive in Week 2 of Preseason

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was solid in a 17-17 tie against the New Orleans. Lawrence finished with one passing touchdown, to wide receiver Parker Washington, on eight completions on 10 attempts for 76 yards. He also ended the first of his two drives with a fumbled snap. The former top pick was sharp in […]

Travis Etienne Jr. Efficient in Limited Game Time Against Saints

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. was efficient in limited game time in a 17-17 tie against the New Orleans Saints. Etienne Jr. was the second back out on the field, where he played with the starters on the second drive of the game. That was all he got, but he did pretty well […]

Bhayshul Tuten Scores Red-Zone Touchdown Against Saints

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten found the end zone for the second straight week, from three yards out this time, in a 17-17 tie against the New Orleans Saints. He finished with 35 yards on 10 carries and one catch for six yards. It wasn't the most efficient outing for the fourth-round pick, […]

Tank Bigsby the First Back on the Field Against Saints

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby was the first back out on the field for the team in a 17-17 tie against the New Orleans Saints. Bigsby finished with two carries for six yards and one catch for 19 yards. He only played on one drive, but it was the first one of the game, […]

Trevor Lawrence has Solid Outing Against Steelers

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed six of seven passes for 43 yards in a 31-25 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lawrence played just one drive, completing his six passes to five different receivers. With new weapons entering the fold and an offensive-minded coaching staff being brought in, the Clemson product could be in for […]

Brian Thomas Jr. Quiet in Limited Game Time

Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Brian Thomas Jr. finished with just one catch for eight yards in a 31-25 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Thomas Jr. proved plenty in his rookie season last year, no matter who was throwing him the ball. That means he doesn't have anything to show the new coaching staff, meaning it is […]

Travis Hunter Involved Early in NFL Debut

Jacksonville Jaguars receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter showed off his two-way abilities in a 31-25 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the opening preseason game, it was expected Hunter would play a little bit on both sides of the ball, which is exactly what happened. He played 10 offensive snaps and eight defensive snaps. On offense, […]

Bhayshul Tuten Finds End Zone in First NFL Appearance

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten had a solid debut in a 31-25 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. In Jacksonville's first preseason game, Tuten was the third running back on the field behind more experienced backs Travis Etienne Jr. and Tank Bigsby. The 23-year-old amassed a total of 40 yards and scored an eight-yard […]

Top Fantasy Football Rebound Candidates - 2025 Draft Discounts

In fantasy football, many players go through rough patches, sometimes lasting for a whole season. That leads to some guys going under the radar heading into the next season and regaining their previous form to put together a rebound season. Plenty of candidates could fall into that category of potential rebound seasons. For simplicity, I […]

Fantasy Football Injury Reports For Championship Round (Friday Updates): Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, A.J. Brown, Dallas Goedert, Dalton Kincaid, Zach Ertz

The AFC and NFC championship games are officially here! After an exciting two weeks of games, just four teams remain. While regular season fantasy football has long been over, many sickos are still deeply entrenched in the world of fantasy football, whether through DFS or full playoff competitions. Both games take place on Sunday, with […]

Fantasy Football Wide Receivers to Prioritize in PPR, But Fade in Standard Leagues (2025)

Fantasy Football Injury Reports: Friday Wild Card Weekend Updates for Zay Flowers, Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, Mike Evans, Bucky Irving, J.K. Dobbins, Aaron Jones, and More

The NFL playoffs are officially here! While regular season fantasy football has concluded, many sickos still desire more fantasy football, whether through DFS or full playoff competitions. It all starts Saturday with Wild Card Weekend, leading into three days of games where 12 teams will battle to advance in the playoffs. While there are fewer […]

Tight End (TE) Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks for Wild Card Weekend (2024)

Currently, Mark Andrews is on a heater, having recorded at least 10 fantasy points in each of his last six contests, increasing his average fantasy points per game to 14.8. The primary reason for ...

Brenton Strange Solid In Overtime Loss To Colts

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange finished the season on a positive note in a 26-23 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The second-year tight end finished with four catches for 60 yards. After an 11-catch, 73-yard performance against the New York Jets back in Week 15, Strange has struggled to produce. While this Week […]

Travis Etienne Jr. Underwhelming In Overtime Loss

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. struggled to find much space in a 26-23 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He finished with 13 carries for 31 yards as well as three catches for 29 yards. The 25-year-old back out of Clemson had the worst season of his young career, struggling to find efficient […]

Parker Washington Salvages Fantasy Day With Touchdown

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington salvaged his fantasy day with a touchdown in a 26-23 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Washington finished with just two catches for 15 yards and a nine-touchdown. The young receiver has been inconsistent ever since taking over at receiver for the injured Christian Kirk and Gabe Davis. He […]

Brian Thomas Jr. Tops Century Mark In Loss To Colts

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. earned double-digit targets and topped the century mark in yards yet again in a 26-23 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Ever since Mac Jones took over at quarterback in Week 13 for the injured Trevor Lawrence, he has made it his mission to find BTJ. That […]

Tank Bigsby Finds End Zone In Overtime Loss

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby struggled with efficiency, but did find the end zone in a 26-23 overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bigsby finished with 14 carries for 39 yards and a one yard touchdown. He also caught a pass for three yards. Bigsby had similar production to what he has had many […]

Mac Jones Has Mediocre Performance To Finish The Season

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones had a solid final game of the season in a 26-23 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He put up 20 completions on 32 attempts for 225 yards and a touchdown. He also threw a pick. The backup quarterback took over for the injured Trevor Lawrence back in Week 13 […]

Cam Little A Solid Kicking Option In Week 18

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little should have at least a decent outing in the final week of the season against the Indianapolis Colts. The rookie kicker has had a solid season overall and will look to finish his first season strong. Along with many other players on the team, this game is more about auditioning […]

Brenton Strange A Touchdown-Dependent Option Against Colts

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange has been an inconsistent fantasy asset this season, and should continue that way in Week 18. He could be in line for more involvement in the passing game this week given the game doesn't matter and the Colts pass defense was gashed last week by Drew Lock and the […]

Tank Bigsby A Decent Upside Flex Option In Week 18

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby has decent upside against the Indianapolis Colts in the final week of the season. The New York Giants offense was great last week against the Colts, so the Jaguars could be in line for a good offensive game as well. Bigsby would likely be the recipient of a touchdown […]

Travis Etienne Jr. A Low-Ceiling Flex Against Colts

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. doesn't have much upside in a meaningless final game against the Indianapolis Colts. Etienne Jr. has been splitting touches out of the backfield with Tank Bigsby for most of the season, and Bigsby has looked like the better back for the most part. The 25-year-old back has had […]

Parker Washington A Decent Flex In Week 18

Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Parker Washington could serve as a decent replacement flex against the Indianapolis Colts. With many top players resting in the season's final week, you can do much worse than Washington. Last week he up put three receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown. After Drew Lock and the Giants offense cooked the […]

Brian Thomas Jr. A WR1 As Usual In Week 18

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is a must-start once again against the Indianapolis Colts. The rookie receiver has been special of late. He has received double-digit targets in each of the last five games, finishing the season strong and looking like a future bonafide alpha receiver. If not for a bit of a […]

Mac Jones A Decent QB2 Against Reeling Colts

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Mac Jones should be boosted slightly against the Indianapolis Colts this week given the number of quarterbacks expected to be out due to injury or rest. Given that the game is meaningless for both teams besides draft position, both teams will be playing for pride. That especially applies to a quarterback like […]
