Seth Quinn - RotoBaller

306 articles

I have been following sports since I was born, with the Patriots always being a big part of my life since 2001. It didn't take me long to find fantasy sports back in 2009, despite being a young kid. Since I realized it was possible during my senior year of high school, I've been writing about sports for a variety of sites. Specifically with fantasy football, I started with Fighting Chance Fantasy in my freshman year of college, and started writing for Rotoballer after my senior year. I have a background in both watching football film and statistical analysis, as I worked for Sports Info Solutions as a football data scout, and studied sport analytics as a major in four years of college at Syracuse Univeristy. I also minored in writing, and studied sports journalism for a year of grad school at SU as well. Sports have always been a primary focus of my life, making me an expert on multiple sports, but despite never playing it, I consider myself an NFL expert, especially when it comes to fantasy football. Considering I've spent more years of my life playing fantasy football than not, it would be hard for me not to be an expert at this point. I look forward to producing more content for RotoBaller going forward. I can be reached on Twitter/X @SethFQuinn.

Brian Thomas Jr. a Sketchy WR2 Once Again

The Jacksonville Jaguars face the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football and will look to use the primetime game as a jumping-off point for the offense. Fans had high hopes for the team's offense with head coach Liam Coen entering the fold, but so far it has underwhelmed, mainly due to the performances of […]

Cam Little a Borderline Starter Against Kansas City

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little doesn't have a lot of upside, but could be in for a decent fantasy outing in Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football. The Chiefs have been one of the better defenses in the NFL to start the season, which could either mean the Jagaurs struggle […]

Bhayshul Tuten Remains High-Upside Handcuff in Week 5

The Jacksonville Jaguars face off with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5 on Monday Night Football in what should be a tough offensive game for the Jaguars. Travis Etienne Jr. should continue to dominate touches out of the backfield, making rookie Bhayshul Tuten (shoulder) solely a touchdown-dependent handcuff. Unless Etienne Jr. goes down with […]

Travis Etienne Jr. a Trustworthy RB2 Against Chiefs

The Jacksonville Jaguars face off with the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football in what should be a difficult matchup. Travis Etienne Jr. at running back might be the only bright spot for this game, as the passing offense has struggled to get going so far this season. If the Jaguars want to have […]

Trevor Lawrence a QB2 on Monday Night Football

The Jacksonville Jaguars face off against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football, which isn't the greatest news for Jaguars fantasy assets. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence already isn't the best fantasy asset to start with, but the Chiefs defense has been good so far this season. They are seventh best in points allowed per game, […]

Bhayshul Tuten a High-Upside Handcuff in Week 4

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten (shoulder) has shown promise in limited volume, but that limited volume should continue in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers, especially with limited practice participation. Travis Etienne Jr. has grabbed control of the backfield, but Tuten did muster a goal-line touchdown in Week 3 against the Houston Texans. […]

Cam Little a Good Enough Kicking Option Against 49ers

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little should have a solid outing in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers.  He missed a long field goal in Week 3, but otherwise has been accurage and shown plenty of leg for distance. In a game where the Jaguars should move the ball decently but not well enough to […]

Brenton Strange a Risky Tight End Option in Week 4

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange has shown signs of fantasy relevance, but not a full body of work worth starting. He has 13 receptions in three games, but hasn't found the end zone yet, and is lower in the pecking order for targets. If the offense as a whole was more consistent, Strange could […]

Travis Hunter a Speculative Flex Play in Week 4

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Travis Hunter has had a slow start to the season, so it is hard to trust him in what has been an inconsistent offense under head coach Liam Coen. He started the season with six receptions, but has dropped each week, finishing with just one last week against the Houston Texans. […]

Dyami Brown Best Left on Benches in Week 4

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dyami Brown (shoulder) already had a low ceiling, but with limited practice participation all week, it is hard to trust him against a solid 49ers defense. Brown had a solid first two weeks, but was overshadowed by Parker Washington in terms of volume last week against the Houston Texans. The Jaguars […]

Parker Washington a Deep-League Flex in Week 4

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington has been surprisingly productive so far this season. With the team investing a high draft pick in Travis Hunter, it was expected Washington would fall out of contention for consistent receiving work. However, he has had 16 targets the last two weeks after zero in Week 1. With Hunter […]

Travis Etienne Jr. a Low-End RB2 Against 49ers

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. has been a bright spot in fantasy so far in what has otherwise been a struggling offense. Entering the season, the Jaguars were expected to have a clear passing attack hierarchy and unclear rushing hierarchy, but it has actually been the other way around. Etienne Jr. has taken […]

Trevor Lawrence a QB2 Once Again Against 49ers

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence isn't the best starting option in Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers. The offense has been just alright to start the year despite facing two weak defenses and one stronger defense. Lawrence has not been good from a fantasy perspective, with his best performance coming in Week 2 with […]

Brian Thomas Jr. a WR2 With Upside in Week 4

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (wrist) has been a massive disappointment so far this season, and should be viewed as a WR2 until he proves otherwise. The wrist injury may be part of it, but this week at least he has had full participation in practice. He is too talented of a player […]

Cam Little a Low-End Starter in Week 3

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little has been a solid fantasy option so far this season, and that shouldn't change in Week 3 against the Houston Texans. The Texans defense has done well of limiting their opponents, but that have also given up lots of yards. That could mean Little is in line for plenty of […]

Jaguars D/ST a Decent Starting Option Against Texans

The Jacksonville Jaguars D/ST has been surprisingly good in fantasy through two weeks, and will look to continue their momentum against the Houston Texans in Week 3. They have done well against the Carolina Panthers and a banged up Cincinnati Bengals offense, currently ranked fourth among fantasy defenses. The Texans are a good offense on […]

Brenton Strange a Clear TE2 in Week 3

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange is a difficult option to trust in Week 3 against the Houston Texans. The Jaguars passing game has been inconsistent to start the season, and the Texans were one of the best pass defenses in the NFL last season. They've held opponents to just 34 points through two weeks, […]

Travis Etienne Jr. a Solid RB2 Against Texans

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. has arguably been the best fantasy asset for the Jaguars so far this season, which could continue in Week 3 against the Houston Texans. He has over 200 total yards on 35 touches in two games, seemingly thriving under new head coach Liam Coen's running scheme. The Jaguars […]

Trevor Lawrence Tough to Trust in Week 3

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has had one dud week and one solid week so far this season, making it hard to trust him against the Houston Texans secondary. The running game has been good to start the season, but the passing game has been inconsistent due to a multitude of young pass catchers and […]

Cam Little a Great Kicking Option Against Bengals

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little has a chance for another good fantasy outing against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2. Little finished with 14 fantasy points against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, and this week has the potential to be another high-scoring game for the Jaguars. Whether that leads to field goal attempts is […]

Jaguars D/ST Not Worth Starting in Week 2

The Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2, which is bad news for both defenses. The Jaguars D/ST had a good Week 1, finishing with 11 fantasy points against Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers, but this week's matchup with Joe Burrow and the Bengals should be much more difficult on paper. […]

Travis Hunter a High-Upside Flex Option Against Bengals

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie sensation Travis Hunter had a solid Week 1, and will look to expand on it in Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He finished his first NFL game against the Carolina Panthers with six catches on eight targets for 33 yards. It seems like head coach Liam Coen is interested in getting […]

Brian Thomas Jr. a Bounce-Back Candidate Against Bengals

The Jacksonville Jaguars face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2, which has a chance to be a shootout. That's fantastic news for Brian Thomas Jr. managers hoping for a much better performance out of their top draft pick. Thomas Jr. had high expectations entering the season after elite stat lines down the stretch of last […]

Travis Etienne Jr. an RB2 in Solid Week 2 Matchup

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. and the team take on the Cincinnati Bengals, whose strength is offense and weakness is defense. That bodes well for the Jacksonville fantasy assets, especially with Etienne Jr.'s resurgent performance in Week 1 against the Panthers. The Panthers have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL […]

Trevor Lawrence Upgraded Against Weak Bengals Defense

The Jacksonville Jaguars could be in for a shootout with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2, with quarterback Trevor Lawrence succeeding in fantasy because of it. After a 26-10 blowout victory on the back of the defense and run game led to disappointing 10 point fantasy day, Lawrence will be looking to right the ship […]

Cam Little a Solid Kicking Option in Week 1

The Jacksonville Jaguars should be better on offense with head coach Liam Coen at the helm, starting with Week 1 against the suspect Carolina Panthers defense. That should mean plenty of kicking opportunities for Cam Little, who proved he had plenty of kicking power when he hit a 70-yard field goal during preseason. The second […]

Jaguars D/ST a Decent Streaming Option Against Panthers

The Jacksonville Jaguars face Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers in Week 1. The Jaguars defense was one of the worst in football last year so it is hard to trust them in fantasy football this year, but a Week 1 matchup with the Panthers means they could perform solidly. Young played better last year […]

Brenton Strange a Solid Tight End Option in Week 1

The Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, which serves as a great matchup for the entire offense. That includes tight end Brenton Strange, who had a solid year last season despite the organizational dysfunction. Especially in PPR leagues, Strange seems like a solid streaming option at TE this season. The Panthers […]

Dyami Brown Only Useful in PPR Against Panthers

The Jacksonville Jaguars face a juicy matchup in the Panthers in Week 1, meaning many players could thrive in fantasy football. That includes likely third WR Dyami Brown, who signed with the Jaguars this offseason. He seems to be behind Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter on the depth chart, but that doesn't mean he […]

Travis Hunter an Intriguing Fantasy Option in Week 1

The Jacksonville Jaguars have an exciting start to the season against the Carolina Panthers. That is mainly because of second overall pick Travis Hunter, who might be the first full-time offensive and defensive player in NFL history. The good news for fantasy managers is he is expected to start out playing more on offense. In […]
