Seth Quinn - RotoBaller

319 articles

I have been following sports since I was born, with the Patriots always being a big part of my life since 2001. It didn't take me long to find fantasy sports back in 2009, despite being a young kid. Since I realized it was possible during my senior year of high school, I've been writing about sports for a variety of sites. Specifically with fantasy football, I started with Fighting Chance Fantasy in my freshman year of college, and started writing for Rotoballer after my senior year. I have a background in both watching football film and statistical analysis, as I worked for Sports Info Solutions as a football data scout, and studied sport analytics as a major in four years of college at Syracuse Univeristy. I also minored in writing, and studied sports journalism for a year of grad school at SU as well. Sports have always been a primary focus of my life, making me an expert on multiple sports, but despite never playing it, I consider myself an NFL expert, especially when it comes to fantasy football. Considering I've spent more years of my life playing fantasy football than not, it would be hard for me not to be an expert at this point. I look forward to producing more content for RotoBaller going forward. I can be reached on Twitter/X @SethFQuinn.

Brian Thomas Jr. a Risky Flex Option in Potential Injury Return

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) is a risky flex play in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers. He missed last week against the Houston Texans, and is currently questionable. BTJ has been underwhelming for fantasy managers this season, so even if he does return from injury, he is tough to trust in lineups […]

Travis Etienne Jr. Remains a Consistent RB2 for Week 11

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis  Etienne Jr. should serve as a solid RB2 once again in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers. In a very inconsistent offense, Etienne Jr. has been a lone bright spot, serving as arguably the only consistent and reliable fantasy option in the Jacksonville offense. Last week, he finished with 77 total yards […]

Jakobi Meyers a Mediocre Flex in Week 11

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jakobi Meyers will continue to get acclimated with his new team in Week 11 against a tough Los Angeles Chargers pass defense. The ability he has shown in the past makes him feel like a solid fantasy option, especially in PPR leagues, but it is still unclear what his ceiling is […]

Cam Little On the Rise Heading Into Week 11

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little is on the rise after two big fantasy weeks. That rise could continue in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Little has a combined six made field goals and five extra points over the last two weeks, with longest distances of 68 yards and 55 yards. His big leg gives […]

Trevor Lawrence Remains a QB2 Against Chargers

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence remains a clear QB2 against a solid Los Angeles Chargers defense in Week 11. Lawrence struggled in Week 10 against a great Texans pass defense, and he has a similar matchup with the Chargers. They rank as one of the top defenses in fantasy against quarterbacks, which means a low ceiling for […]

Parker Washington a Decent Flex Play Against Chargers

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington (hamstring) has been great the last two weeks, but that will be tough to maintain in a difficult Week 11 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers. That is especially true after a week of minimal practice participation. Washington has 16 targets over the last two weeks, with Week 10 putting him […]

Parker Washington a PPR Flex Play in Week 10

Despite a difficult matchup with the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington seems like a solid flex starter this week. With Brian Thomas Jr. out of the lineup, Washington seems like the prime candidate to step up as the top target. The Jaguars did acquire Jakobi Meyers via trade, but time will tell […]

Dyami Brown a Risky Flex Play in Week 10

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dyami Brown (concussion) has been cleared to play, but remains a risky flex at best against the Houston Texans. With Brian Thomas Jr. ruled out this week, Brown should get opportunities to make plays in Week 10. However, the Jaguars offense hasn’t been the best this season, and the Texans defense […]

Jakobi Meyers a Boom-or-Bust Flex in Week 10

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jakobi Meyers will look to get involved in the offense in Week 10, his first week with the team. With Brian Thomas Jr. out, Meyers has a chance to prove to the team they made the right call in acquiring him. Last week, it was Parker Washington who stepped up with […]

Travis Etienne Jr. Still in RB2 Territory Against Texans

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. has been a solid fantasy starter this season, which should continue in Week 10. The Houston Texans serve as a somewhat difficult matchup, but are more difficult for passing offenses than rushing offenses. With quite a few receiving options banged heading into this week, the Jaguars could decide […]

Bhayshul Tuten a Touchdown-Dependent Desperation Play in Week 10

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten has a small chance to be more involved, but is still a risky start in Week 10. The receiving core for the Jaguars is currently banged up, which led them to rely on the run game more last week. That led Tuten to get 10 total touches and find […]

Jaguars D/ST a Great Streaming Option Against Texans

The Jacksonville Jaguars defense/special teams unit has a plus matchup in Week 10 against the Houston Texans. The Houston offense has been inconsistent this season, but with Davis Mills starting at QB, things may get even more difficult for them. That is great news for the Jaguars, who currently sit third in the NFL in […]

Cam Little a Solid Starting Kicker in Week 10

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little’s stock is on the rise after nailing an NFL-record 68-yard field goal last week. However, with the Jaguars offense banged up, his long distance ability may not translate into enough opportunities for a big fantasy day. The Jaguars will be without Brian Thomas Jr., so it will be even harder […]

Trevor Lawrence Firmly a QB2 Against Texans

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence may have a tough time in Week 10. The Jaguars face the Houston Texans, who have one of the top defenses in the NFL, and are especially strong against the pass. Combining that with a banged up receiving core, and you’ve got a recipe for a tough outing. However, Lawrence […]

Cam Little a Low-End Starter in Week 9

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little is a borderline starter in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Jaguars offense is a bit banged up despite the bye week last week, meaning there is a chance for some struggles. However, the Raiders defense is one of the weakest in the NFL, meaning the Jaguars should […]

Jaguars D/ST a Top Streaming Option Against Raiders

The Jacksonville Jaguars defense/special teams unit serves as a good streaming option in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Geno Smith and the Raiders offense have been turnover prone, and the Jaguars have been good at forcing turnovers. They currently sit at second in the league in turnovers forced with 14 despite being on […]

Bhayshul Tuten a Desperation Flex Option in Week 9

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten should remain a backup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 9 but has a chance for more involvement in the pass game. The Raiders defense is leaky overall, but especially against the pass, meaning the Jaguars could pass early and often. That might mean higher pace, and more […]

Dyami Brown a Deep-League Flex Play Against Raiders

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dyami Brown (shoulder) should be in line for more volume despite dealing with a lingering injury against the Las Vegas Raiders. He was able to practice fully on Thursday and Friday, so it seems he used the bye week well to get healthier. With rookie receiver Travis Hunter (knee) on IR, […]

Parker Washington an Interesting Flex Option Against Raiders

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington has a chance for increased volume coming out of the bye in Week 9. The Las Vegas Raiders are a weaker defense, especially against the pass, meaning the game plan should be to pass early to build up a lead. With rookie receiver Travis Hunter (knee) on IR, Washington […]

Brian Thomas Jr. a WR2 With Upside in Week 9

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. (shoulder) has a chance for more volume, and therefore, more upside in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders. He was limited at practice all week but has no injury designation. With rookie receiver Travis Hunter (knee) placed on IR, BTJ now stands out as the clear alpha […]

Travis Etienne Jr. a Reliable RB2 Against Raiders

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. has a chance for more involvement in the gameplan this week against the Las Vegas Raiders, making him a solid RB2. Etienne Jr. has gotten inconsistent volume as of late, and with the Raiders being better against the run than the pass, that might continue in Week 9. […]

Trevor Lawrence a Solid QB2 Against Weak Raiders Pass Defense

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence should serve as a solid QB2 in Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders defense hasn’t been the best overall this season but is even weaker against the pass than the run, so the Jaguars game plan should be to throw the ball early and try to mount […]

Bhayshul Tuten Remains a Touchdown-Dependent Handcuff in Week 7

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten should remain the full-time backup to Travis Etienne Jr. with limited work against the Los Angeles Rams. So far this season, the rookie running back hasn’t gotten many touches, but has been efficient enough with them to show promise (4.1 yards per carry, 9.8 yards per reception). He […]

Dyami Brown Not Worth Consideration in Week 7

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dyami Brown (shoulder) is still dealing with this nagging shoulder injury, but even if he was fully healthy, it would be hard to view him as a reliable fantasy option. Besides Week 2 against the Bengals, Brown has not been productive this season. Even last week with tight end Brenton Strange […]

Cam Little a Mid-Tier Kicking Option in Week 7

Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little has a chance for a solid day in Week 7 against the Los Angeles Rams. In what should be a close matchup between two 4-2 teams, Little should have opportunities in what could be a tough game overall in London. The Jaguars' offense is good enough to move the ball […]

Jaguars D/ST a Low-End Starting Option Against Rams

The Jacksonville Jaguars defense/special teams unit is a low-end starting option against the Los Angeles Rams in London. The Rams are normally a prolific offense under head coach Sean McVay, but star wide receiver Puka Nacua will be out, making them more susceptible to mistakes than usual. The unit started the season strong, but has […]

Travis Hunter an Intriguing Flex for Potential Week 7 Breakout

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Travis Hunter could have a breakout game against the Los Angeles Rams during their visit to London. After a quiet start to the season, Liam Coen stated to the press the gameplan would be to get Hunter more involved on offense this week. That is music to the ears of fantasy […]

Travis Etienne Jr. a Solid RB2 Once More in London

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. has been solid ever since seizing control of the Jacksonville backfield at the beginning of the season. He hit double digits in half-PPR fantasy points each of the first four weeks, amassing three touchdowns in the process, but has sputtered a bit the last two weeks. To be […]

Trevor Lawrence a Solid QB2 in Tough Matchup With Rams

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has had a solid but inconsistent fantasy season through six weeks. He finally seems on the same page with star receiver Brian Thomas Jr., which has helped him have two straight good fantasy weeks against the Chiefs and Seahawks. With the offense starting to gain momentum, Lawrence could become a […]

Brian Thomas Jr. Looking to Continue Momentum in London

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. finally had a breakout game last week against the Seattle Seahawks, putting up 90 yards on eight catches and a touchdown. After a rough first three weeks where BTJ wasn't on the same page with quarterback Trevor Lawrence (14.3, 33.3, and 33.3% catch percentages respectively), he has been […]
