Victor Oladipo 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoIndiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo will be a risky fantasy option in 2019-20 after missing most of last season due to multiple injuries. His season ended in January, and we might not see him back in action before 2020 if Indiana decides to play it extremely safe. The team has added a lot of depth over the summer, so they aren't actually in need of rushing their starman back. Oladipo had a down year scoring-wise in 2018-19, but he posted career-highs in both rebounds (5.6) and assists (5.2), to show that there's still more to come from him, even though he is already getting set for his seventh season in the league. The two-time All-Star is also a beast on the defensive end and he has an NBA All-Defensive First Team selection in 2018 to show for it. The injuries came at a really bad time, as Oladipo looked set to develop into a superstar after breaking out in 2017-18. Oladipo will get close to 12 months to recover from a torn quad, but he'll need time on the court to find his rhythm again and you need to be super patient with him as an owner in 2019-20.
