T.J. Hockenson Registers Only 23 Yards Against Tampa Bay
4 years agoDetroit Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson had only four catches for 23 yards in the Lions 47-7 loss to the Buccaneers in Week 16. Hockenson saw six targets in this embarrassing performance by the Lions offense, who used all three quarterbacks in the game after starter Matthew Stafford (leg) exited with an injury early in the game. The second-year tight end has enjoyed a promising season, but he has produced only 84 receiving yards over his last three games. The Lions quarterback situation will need to be monitored all week before making a fantasy decision on Hockenson for Week 17. The tight end will enter the final week of the season with 64 receptions for 698 yards and six touchdowns, but he'll be a shaky low-end TE1 if backup Chase Daniel is starting.
