Sony Michel 2021 Outlook: Will He Be Able To Rejuvenate His Career With The Rams?
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Sony Michel is looking to rejuvenate his career with his new team. His career did not live up to his first-round expectations while he was at New England, but he did have some moments where he was able to flash some of his talents. Michel will be competing with Darrell Henderson for touches out of the backfield. The Rams lost starting running back Cam Akers to an Achilles injury earlier this off-season. The team needed another running back to add overall depth at the position. It's going to be interesting to see how quickly he can acclimate to his new offense. Michel is currently falling to the later rounds of fantasy drafts. Depending on league size, he could be going undrafted. We do know that he's not going to start off the season as the primary workhorse for the Rams. However, if something happens to Henderson, the team will need to lean on Michel for rushing production. At this point, he should be considered an end-of-bench flier until his situation changes.
