Rhamondre Stevenson 2024 Outlook: Excellent Running Back In Terrible Situation
3 months agoRhamondre Stevenson presents a quandary that often plagues Fantasy Football managers: should you draft a good player on a terrible team? While Rhamondre has played well when given the opportunity and displays great RB skills like tackle avoidance and pass-catching ability, he's still stuck on the Patriots, who have one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. To make matters worse, Jacoby Brissett is slated to start the season. Brissett looked completely dysfunctional in the preseason, barely mustering any yardage and throwing an interception. Combine that with the Patriots' lack of other offensive weapons and the picture for Rhamondre in 2024 is pretty ugly. The hope for PPR leagues is that Stevenson catches plenty of passes, and while that's a possibility, there may not be much else to lean on for his production. Rhamondre's ADP isn't terrible, as he's being drafted around RB22 in PPR leagues, so he's a fine pick, but drafting him expecting a big season is likely to lead to disappointment. Unless Drake Maye gets the nod and single-handedly turns the Patriots offense around, it's looking like it'll be another season of rough sledding for Rhamondre.
