Lamar Jackson 2018 Outlook- Wait Till 2019
6 years agoAre we going to see one of the most dynamic quarterbacks to play the position or a guy that should have made the position switch when he could? Lamar Jackson is going to stir controversy in Baltimore until he finally sees the field. For 2018 though, there may not be many fireworks.
The Ravens are not a bad team. After finishing 8-8 last season the Ravens will be looking to get back to the playoffs and Joe Flacco will do just enough to get them there. Jackson will hold little to no value in redraft leagues and could be a late round flyer in two-QB or superflex leagues. The Ravens have given Flacco upgraded receivers and a run game that will feature Alex Collins and Kenneth Dixon. The offense will do just enough, and the defense will keep them in every game. When a player scores 119 touchdowns in three seasons while in college, you know he possess the skills. We may have to wait and see how his skills translates to the NFL.
