1 year agoLas Angeles Chargers edge rusher Joey Bosa's promising career has been interrupted too often by injuries. He started out last season strong, making 1.5 sacks in Week 1, but a grade three groin tear in Week 3 caused him to miss twelve weeks. When he was on the field, he was great. He made three sacks on 104 pass rushes. If he could keep up that sack rate for a full season, he would be on pace for about 13 sacks. While his sack rate might have decreased with a larger sample size, a double-digit sack total is not outside of the realm of possibilities for Bosa. His career sack rate of 2.5% is only 0.3 points less than that of his brother, Nick. Since he is coming off an injury-limited season, Joey Bosa will be forgotten by some fantasy managers, and he might be available at a discount.--Mitchell Blatt - RotoBaller
