MLB DFS Picks Today: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings (6/28/25)

Robbie Ray - fantasy baseball rankings pitchers draft sleepers MLB injury news

Koby's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Saturday, 6/28/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome Back, RotoBallers! We have a big 10-game slate on our hands for this Saturday afternoon! It's not often we get these bigger slates on Saturday, so it's nice occasionally to have more options to work with. The weather is looking pretty mild today. The two games to keep an eye on are the matchups between the Padres/Reds, as well as the Yankees/Royals.

With 10 games, there can be a lot of noise when choosing lineups. Why not jump into our RotoBaller Discord? A premium subscription gets you full access to all our chat channels, and our MLB DFS talk is already hopping. Find the best stacks, cash plays, and GPP pivots to maximize your winnings with us!

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/28/2025, with the slate starting at 4:05 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Robbie Ray, SD ($10.5K DK/$10.6K FD)

Robbie Ray has come back down to earth after his electric start to the season. That won't stop me from taking advantage of this matchup, though. The White Sox have been middle of the pack against LHP, but what makes this so intriguing is the 34.5% K% the White Sox have against them this month.

Ray has eight wins on the season to go along with 10 quality starts. The Giants' offense has been great at backing him up this season, and they should be able to get it done and get him the win once again. Ray will likely be pretty chalky, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we saw double-digit strikeouts for Ray in this one.

Andrew Abbott, CIN ($9.2K DK/$9.8K FD)

The theme today is left-handed pitchers. They all seem to have great matchups, and I'll take advantage of those all day. Especially with a guy like Andrew Abbott on the mound. He has been extremely efficient with six or more innings in four of his last five starts. He has a 1.79 ERA on the season, and had it not been for him getting blown up by the Brewers, that number might be sub 1.0.

The Padres are struggling right now, especially against LHP. They have the second-lowest wRC+ at 58 this month and have a putrid ISO of .082 to go along with a .249 wOBA. The Padres have been middle of the pack when it comes to strikeouts, but Abbott has some nasty stuff and a 24.3% K% to go along with an 11.1 SwStr%.

Risky Pick: Bailey Falter, PIT ($7.3K DK, $7.3K FD)

Okay, here me out. Bailey Falter hasn't been a great pitcher this season, but he has shown flashes of great games periodically throughout the season. He gets a matchup here that I can't overlook, though. The Mets have been the worst team in the league against LHP this month. They have a wRC+ of 40, a 25.6% K%, a horrid .065 ISO, and a wOBA of .220!

This Mets team can't hit a lefty to save their lives right now. Like I said, though, Bailey Falter has been anything to rave about, so keep your expectations low. He makes for a solid SP2 on DK and a great way to get different in your GPPs.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Alejandro Kirk, TOR - C ($3.6K DK/$2.9K FD)

If it wasn't for the Big Dumper Cal Raleigh, Alejandro Kirk would be atop the best catchers in the AL. He has absolutely raked on Lucas Giolito, in 14 ABs he has four home runs and a single against him.

This season, Kirk runs up a .344 wOBA and a .438 SLG against RHP. The best part about all this is that Kirk is still fairly cheap for his production this season. He likely finds himself as an All-Star with how well he has hit the ball.

Brandon Lowe, TBR - 2B ($4.5K DK/$3.2K FD)

Zach Eflin has been destroyed by LHH this season, and who better to take him on than the red-hot Brandon Lowe? Lowe is currently on a 14-game hitting streak and has had homers in back-to-back games. LHH are hitting .439 wOBA and .688 SLG against Eflin this season, making lefties a crucial part of your Rays stacks.

Brandon Lowe is hitting RHP for a .373 wOBA and .527 SLG this season. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Brandon Lowe go for another home run and make three straight games.

Rafael Devers, SFG - 3B ($4.9K DK/$4.0K FD)

Rafael Devers has done well since joining the Giants; he has 10 hits in as many games, and two of those for home runs. Houser has been significantly worse against LHH this season and is hit much harder.

LHH has a .366 wOBA and a .492 SLG against Houser; he also is walking lefties three times as much as righties. Devers is the clear top option from the Giants as he continues to hit well in San Francisco.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Christian Yelich, MIL  ($5.0K DK/$3.6K FD)

Christian Yelich has been on a major hot streak recently. He has a hit in 10 straight games with a total of 19 hits in that time. He mashes on RHP, and with someone as poor as Antonio Senzatela on the mound, this is a perfect spot for Yelich to have a big night.

He has 14 home runs against RHP this season to go along with a .383 wOBA and .534 SLG. He already has a home run against Senzatela before; what is stopping him from hitting another one tonight?

Kyle Stowers, MIA- OF ($3.8K DK/$2.9K FD)

Here is where I differ from the typical stacks. I love Kyle Stowers as a one-off in this spot. He has hit all twelve of his home runs this season off RHP. Brandon Pfaadt has been hit pretty hard this season, giving up 16 home runs, and nine of those were against LHH. Stowers is a pure power hitter, and he is in a groove right now with seven hits in his last five games, and all but one of those were for an XBH.

Chandler Simpson, TBR - OF ($4.1K DK/$2.6K FD)

I was truly surprised when they sent Chandler Simpson back down to the minors. But he is back and still doing what he does best, getting on base and stealing them. He has shown how lethal he can be on the basepaths. He has an OPS of .658 against RHP this season.

If he can get on base, then the stolen bases will follow. He is too cheap for the potential he brings to every game, and with how well lefties have done against Eflin, I love Simpson in Rays stacks.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Tampa Bay Rays (Implied Run Total - 5.1) vs Zach Eflin

Eflin has been decent this year, but he has been blown up in back-to-back starts, including against the Rays just less than two weeks ago. The Rays have the highest wRC+ at 150 against RHP over the last two weeks, and they will look to rebound after getting one of the worst beatings of the season.

Favorite Combo: B. Lowe, J. Lowe, Aranda, Caminero

2. Milwaukee Brewers (Implied Run Total - 5.6) vs Antonio Senzatela

I have enjoyed attacking Senzatela all season long. If it wasn't for the Rockies, he likely wouldn't have a job or would be pushed to the pen with most teams. The Brewers have the highest run total on the slate, slightly ahead of the Dodgers. Senzatela has given up four or more runs in 10 of his outings this season.

The Brewers have a top-five wRC+ against RHP across the last two weeks and look to continue their run here against a bad pitcher.

Favorite Combo: Frelick, Yelich, Turang, Hoskins

3. San Francisco Giants (Implied Run Total - 4.6) vs Adrian Houser

Adrian Houser has been relatively good for the White Sox, but he is going to have a tough time here against the Giants. The Giants have been extremely disciplined at the plate. They have a league-leading 12.3% BB% and the seventh-lowest K% at 19.3% across the last two weeks to go along with a top-five wRC+. They have Robbie Ray on the mound tonight, and that should give them an already big advantage in this one.

Favorite Combo: Devers, Yastrzemski, Ramos, J. H. Lee

Other Options to Consider: Seattle Mariners vs. Kumar Rocker, Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Seth Lugo
