Fantasy Football Draft Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider drafting in 2026:
Kenny Gainwell, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Kenneth Gainwell assembled the most prolific numbers of his career during 2025 and is now primed to seize a sizable role in Tampa Bay's reconstructed backfield. Gainwell easily exceeded expectations while delivering career-best numbers in attempts (114/6.7 per game), rushing yards (537/31.6 per game), targets (85/5.0 per game), and receiving yards (486/28.6 per game), securing a career high 50% snap share and finishing as an RB1 during seven matchups.
Gainwell also finished second among all backs in targets (51/6.4 per game), receptions (44/5.5 per game), and receiving yards (262/45.4 per game) from Weeks 11-18. Gainwell's performance also propelled him to a two-year, $14 million contract with Tampa Bay.
This will infuse Gainwell into a depth chart that also contains Bucky Irving, who will operate as the Buccaneers' lead back once he fully recovers from offseason shoulder surgery. However, Gainwell's presence should prevent Irving from functioning as a workhorse. Irving was sidelined during seven contests last season (foot/shoulder), and his averages in yards per attempt (3.4) and yards after contact per attempt (1.6) were uninspiring. Gainwell's versatility should propel him to a weekly allotment of carries while maintaining a role as Tampa Bay's primary receiving weapon from the backfield.
Gainwell's proven ability to capitalize on those opportunities should sustain his standalone value. Gainwell also remains capable of approaching RB1 production if Irving is forced to the sideline. That justifies targeting Gainwell at his Round 9 ADP in best ball leagues (108/RB37), along with his Round 11 ADP in dynasty startups (121/RB41).
Jalen Nailor, Las Vegas Raiders
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jalen Nailor finally finds himself with a good chance at seeing consistent involvement on the field following four years as an ancillary piece in Minnesota. He only had 12 total catches between 21 games in 2022-23, but grew into a 57-858-10 receiving line across 34 games in 2024-25. He only topped 50 yards once in 2026, but he made it count, securing five catches for 124 yards and a score in Week 10.
The Raiders will either be led by rookie Fernando Mendoza or veteran Kirk Cousins, neither of whom is a bankable asset. This is offset by Nailor joining a weak WR corps, where talent can readily make him the No. 1 WR, even if he'd still be behind TE Brock Bowers. There's offseason buzz saying that Nailor is going to be the Jaxon Smith-Njigba in Klint Kubiak's new LV offense.
That's a 99th-percentile runout, but the point stands that there is little resistance to the opportunity. His WR61/Pick 160 ADP as of mid-June leaves plenty of room for profit.
Jalen Coker, Carolina Panthers
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker was an early offseason sleeper candidate after his budding chemistry with Bryce Young was put on display down the stretch of the 2025 season and in the Panthers' Wild Card loss to the Rams, in which he recorded a career-high 134 receiving yards and a touchdown. Coker began the season on injured reserve due to a strained quad and started slowly after missing six games, but over his final six games of the season, including the playoffs, he averaged 63 receiving yards per contest and scored four touchdowns, tied for the seventh-most by any receiver in that stretch.
The Panthers added John Metchie III in free agency, but any direct competition for regular work in two-receiver sets likely would have come from rookie Chris Brazzell II. However, with the third-round pick tearing his LCL in the opening days of training camp, Coker is all but secured of an every-down role. He projects to be the primary slot receiver in an offense whose weak tight end room led to the seventh-highest rate of 11 personnel in the league in 2025, and at 6'3" and 213 pounds, he's got the size to kick outside in two-receiver sets alongside 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year Tetairoa McMillan.
Coker has been an easy player to root for since the Panthers picked him up as an undrafted free agent out of Holy Cross in 2024, and 2026 is lining up cleanly for a potential breakout season.
Romeo Doubs, New England Patriots
Romeo Doubs signed a four-year, $68 million contract with the New England Patriots this offseason. Doubs' time as New England's No. 1 wide receiver was short-lived when the Patriots acquired A.J. Brown from the Eagles in June. The 26-year-old is expected to play primarily out of the slot for the Patriots and should see more favorable matchups, as defenses will focus on shutting down Brown.
Doubs never logged a 1,000-yard season or even a 100-yard game during the regular season in his tenure at Green Bay, but balled out when it mattered by averaging 123.7 receiving yards in four playoff games. The Patriots have a lot of success with receivers playing out of the slot and recently let go of Stefon Diggs, who racked up 1,103 yards and four touchdowns while lining up inside the slot 45-50% of the time last season. Doubs is set as New England's No. 2 wide receiver, but will compete with not only Brown, but Mack Hollins, DeMario Douglas, and Kyle Williams for targets.
RotoBaller has Doubs ranked as WR53 and 122 overall, which aligns with his Sleeper ADP of 123. Coming off a massive contract, the Patriots will find ways to get Doubs the ball, but he is more of a weekly FLEX play given the competition for targets and the Pats' tougher schedule heading into 2026.
Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy is looking to rebound after requiring offseason shoulder surgery to fully repair the torn labrum suffered in Week 1's collision with Travis Kelce. He wound up only missing two weeks, logging 42 total catches for 532 yards and one touchdown over 14 games. It's no surprise that his diminished effectiveness led to a lower deep-ball catch rate, and Worthy also failed to score on any of his three end-zone targets.
One cannot forget that alongside Worthy's 59-638-6 rookie receiving line was another three rushing TDs on 20 carries (104 yards). While he still gained 87 yards on 11 rushes in '25, the TD variance was not in his favor. The Chiefs also struggled as a team, losing key players like Patrick Mahomes II, Rashee Rice, and Isiah Pacheco for stretches.
And though Worthy was still rocking a no-contact jersey during OTAs as a precaution, all reports have been optimistic about his readiness for Week 1. With the offense seemingly approaching 100%, we can hope that Year 3 Worthy gets robust downfield usage to show off that health, speed, and separation. His June half-PPR ADP around pick 117 lags roughly 15 spots behind our RotoBaller rank, which makes him a solid dart throw for most flex slots.
