MLB DFS Picks Today: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings (7/5/25)

Cal Raleigh - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Koby's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Saturday, 7/5/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Welcome Back, RotoBallers! We have an odd setup between the two sites for our slate today. FanDuel and DraftKings couldn't decide which to make their main, so we will be taking a look at the main on DK, which starts at 7:15 PM EST and is also considered the late slate on FanDuel.

I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July and everyone was safe! Hopefully, the weekend treats everyone right, and we make some cash today! The weather looks great in all six games today, and we shouldn't have any rain delays.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/5/2025, with the slate starting at 7:15 PM EST. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Casey Mize, DET ($9.3K DK/$9.2K FD)

Casey Mize has been solid this year, making him a very good SP1 option. He has gone 5+ innings in all but two starts including a big game over Cleveland back in May, where he had 30 fantasy points. He has been great for eating innings and getting strikeouts here and there as well, with a K/9 of 8 this season.

Cleveland has been on the downhill recently with a wRC+ of 67 across the last two weeks against RHP, which is the third worst in the league in that time frame. Mize has had success against Cleveland in the past, and with Detroit going against a lefty, they should rake against Logan Allen, giving Mize the run support he needs to get the win as well as the Quality Start.

Logan Webb, SFG ($10.2K DK/$10.6K FD)

The only worry I have with going here against the Athletics is that they are in the minor league stadium in Sacramento. It is a very hitter-friendly park, but Logan Webb has been nails this season. He has gone 6+ innings in all but four outings this season and has an impressive K/9 of 10.23 this season.

Going along with the Athletics have a below-average wRC+ of 93 across the last two weeks, but also have a K% of 28% in that time. Logan Webb has been great about limiting damage and getting Quality Starts, which he has had in all but four starts this season, and only giving up more than three runs once this entire season.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Cal Raleigh, C/1B(Fanduel) - SEA ($6.3K DK/$4.4K FD)

Cal Raleigh has been dynamite this season. Especially against RHP. He has 21 of his 35 home runs against RHP this season although he hits better against LHP. He has been great on both sides of the plate. He has a .573 SLG and an OPS of .950.

He has been torching bad pitchers this season and is coming off two home runs last night. He is expensive, but he has been one of the best hitters in baseball this season.

Rafael Devers, 3B - SFG ($4.9K DK/$3.7K FD)

Devers hasn't been the greatest since joining the Giants this season, but he has punished RHPs this season. Where he would have a team-leading wOBA of .523 and 17 home runs against RHP. This is the perfect spot for Devers to get right while probably nuking one into the outfield and getting back on track like this Giants team needs him to be.

Tyler Freeman, 2B/OF - COL ($5.0K DK/$3.3K FD)

Two of the worst teams are taking each other on in this one, but I like Colorado quite a bit, even with how bad they have been. Tyler Freeman has been great for this Colorado team in a limited run. He has 44 hits in 130 PA against RHP this season and has earned himself a .478 wOBA and a .583 SLG in that time. He doesn't have the hits, but he has been great at getting on base for this Rockies team.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Randy Arozarena, OF - SEA ($4.2K DK/$3.3K FD)

Randy Arozarena has been on fire recently. He has five home runs in the last five games and at least six games with two hits in his last seven games. He had a rough start to the season, but June was one of his best months with a personal wRC+ of 146. He hasn't been as good against RHP, but I think with a matchup like this, he should be good for a solid outing once again.

Hunter Goodman, C/OF - SF ($5.6K DK/$3.7K FD)

This one is more for those on FanDuel, where Goodman has OF eligibility, but I do like him as a pivot to Cal Raleigh as well if that's the way you want to go. Goodman has 14 home runs against RHP that have resulted in a .378 wOBA and a .533 SLG this season. For Colorado Stacks, he is a must-have against a bad pitcher in Jonathan Cannon.

Jahmai Jones, OF - DET ($3.0K DK/$2.5K FD)

Jahmai Jones is in the perfect spot against LHP Logan Allen. He has been more of a platoon guy this season for that specific reason. He has a .508 wOBA and a .759 SLG against LHP this season. He is still relatively cheap as well and makes for a great one-off or small-stack spot with the Detroit Tigers. Jones is one of the best options on the slate.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. San Francisco Giants vs Luis Severino

It is attack, Severino time. Severino at home is a liability. He has a 6.79 ERA and has given up nearly triple the amount of runs compared to his away games. Giants will be my main stack in this small slate of games.

Favorite Combo: Devers, Ramos, Yastrzemski, Adames

2. Seattle Mariners vs Mike Burrows

Seems like the Mariners are heating up again, maybe? It is always a risk, taking this Seattle team, but I like them here against Burrows, who has been very up and down himself. Seattle hit four home runs last night off of Falter and the bullpen. Seattle has a 126 wRC+ against RHP this season and should be able to get to Burrows either.

Favorite Combo: Raleigh, Canzone, Arozarena, Crawford

3. Colorado Rockies vs Jonathan Cannon

Always have to get a bit of Coors Field representation, especially in those cash games. German Marquez has been relatively good recently, so I'm going to take the other side and take the Rockies in their home stadium against Jonathan Cannon, who has been blown up in three of his last four starts with 3+ runs in those games.

Both Colorado and Chicago have been terrible, but I think Colorado is in a better spot.

Favorite Combo: Freeman, Goodman, Beck, McMahon
