Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 7:
Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown has a scheme-driven threat to his early-down workload after Samaje Perine outcarried him 14-13 in Week 5. Brown had 58 rushing attempts across the first four games compared with just 13 for Perine, who then gained 68 yards on 14 carries and caught a touchdown in the 31-24 win over Miami. Brown managed 39 rushing yards, caught three passes for 21 yards, and lost a fumble.
His 3.5 yards per carry this season adds to the concern, with 24 receptions keeping him in low-end RB2 territory for Week 7 at Baltimore. Offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher said the downhill running approach used against Miami played to Perine's strengths and that the Bengals' weekly game plan would influence how the two share carries.
Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum has scored a touchdown in each of his last two games, bumping him up to the RB28 spot in total PPR scoring this season. Corum has remained in the No. 2 running back role behind Kyren Williams, but that hasn't stopped him from carving out standalone value in PPR leagues, especially in the last two weeks.
The bad news is that Corum has played more than one-third of the snaps in just one game this season, so even though he has been productive lately, he doesn't have the typical workload of a top-36 fantasy running back. Therefore, fantasy managers should want him to earn more snaps and more volume going forward, especially since his touchdown streak could come to an end any week.
He's currently an RB3/flex in fantasy football, but his fantasy outlook remains very much dependent on scoring touchdowns.
Josh Jacobs, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that running back Josh Jacobs is "on track to play" on Sunday in the Week 7 divisional showdown on the road against the Detroit Lions as long as he gets through Friday's practice and continues to trend in the right direction, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.
After a legal battle kept Jacobs on the commissioner's exempt list for the first six weeks of the 2026 season, the 28-year-old was reinstated on Monday and had his first full practice with the team on Thursday.
Jacobs is trying to get his legs under him in order to make his season debut this weekend against the Lions. It looks like he will be active on Sunday, but fantasy managers have to wonder if the Packers will ease him back into a backfield that also includes MarShawn Lloyd and Kaleb Johnson.
The former first-rounder by the Raiders in 2019 from Alabama is a three-time Pro Bowler and the unquestioned lead back in Green Bay after finding the end zone a whopping 28 times over the last two seasons while also rushing for over 1,000 yards in his first season with the team in 2024. If Jacobs is officially active in Detroit, he should be considered an RB2 right away for fantasy purposes.
RJ Harvey, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos running back RJ Harvey has caught more passes than he has logged rushing attempts this season, with 23 receptions for 163 yards on 26 targets compared with 21 carries for 81 yards across five appearances. After managing one target and no catches in Week 5, Harvey caught three of four targets for a team-high 31 yards in Denver's 17-14 overtime win over Seattle.
He added six carries for 25 yards and his first touchdown of 2026, but J.K. Dobbins handled 17 rushing attempts and remains the lead option on the ground. Harvey's 10-catch Week 4 game accounts for a big chunk of his receiving production, which makes his weekly target total hard to trust.
His pass-catching role still gives him deeper-league PPR flex appeal ahead of Week 7 against Arizona. That outlook comes with an added wrinkle, as Jonah Coleman (ankle) has been designated to return from injured reserve and was back at practice Wednesday, although he hasn't been activated yet.
