Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 3:
TreVeyon Henderson, New England Patriots
New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson had a very impressive performance in last week's season debut, and he'll look to replicate that success in another potentially favorable matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday afternoon. Henderson finished last weekend's game against the Steelers with 76 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown on 16 carries.
Most notably, he reclaimed the lead-back role, relegating Rhamondre Stevenson to a much smaller role than expected. Assuming the backfield dynamic looks the same in Week 3, Henderson could be well on his way to a strong RB2 finish. The Jaguars have allowed the fourth-fewest rushing yards to running backs in 2026, but that's a small sample size that includes the Browns, who have struggled to get any sort of production from Quinshon Judkins, and the Broncos, who emerged from last week with all three of their running backs on the injury report.
It's also worth noting that the Jaguars have still managed to surrender the seventh-most catches and receiving yards to running backs this year. Henderson ranks as the overall RB24 in RotoBaller's latest Week 3 fantasy football rankings.
Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard (ankle) doesn't carry an injury designation in Sunday's game against the New York Giants. Pollard doubled his workload in Week 2, carrying the ball 14 times for 64 yards against a tough Eagles front after receiving only seven carries in the opener. The snap split also swung back in Pollard's favor, as he played 55% of the snaps compared with 36% for Tyjae Spears (ankle).
Despite receiving more work on the ground, Pollard was less efficient, averaging 4.6 yards per carry to Spears' 5.9.
Through two games, Pollard has rushed 21 times for 99 yards, while his involvement in the passing game has been almost nonexistent. He did appear on the injury report this week with an ankle issue but practiced in full Friday and is good to go for this week's favorable matchup against the Giants. New York just allowed LA running backs Kyren Williams and Blake Corum to combine for 164 rushing yards at 6.8 yards per carry. The aforementioned Spears is dealing with an ankle injury and is currently questionable to play.
If he is ruled out, Pollard should see his largest workload of the season and immediately becomes viable as an RB2. If Spears plays, Pollard remains his usual touchdown-dependent, lower-end flex option against the Giants.
Denzel Boston, Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Denzel Boston is emerging as the leading target for Deshaun Watson and the Browns and has a touchdown in each of his first two games. Expect him to continue that success against a solid Panthers secondary in Week 3. The Browns return home for the home opener this week and expect Boston to show off his developing chemistry with Watson in what is a pretty tough matchup with the Panthers cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson. In two games so far, Boston has totaled seven receptions for 154 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
He's seen 11 targets total in both games combined, which is tied with KC Concepcion for the team lead in targets. Boston is making the most of his looks as he is averaging a team-best 22 yards per reception. Look for Boston to make a few big plays against the Panthers in Week 3 and continue his trend of making a splash in the passing game.
The rookie second-round pick is riding the wave of a hot streak and fantasy managers should notice the trend and use Boston as a starting fantasy wide receiver.
George Pickens, Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens is coming off a WR5 finish in PPR leagues last year, but his start to the 2026 season has been relatively underwhelming. The 25-year-old has just nine catches for 68 yards through the first two games, and he's still searching for his first touchdown of the year. It's not like the Cowboys' entire passing offense took a step back; CeeDee Lamb has at least 15.4 PPR points in each of his first two games, and Dak Prescott has six passing touchdowns.
Pickens has been the outlier of the group, and while he has still been able to maintain WR3/flex level production in fantasy football, managers would certainly like to see him return to his WR1 form. A potential shootout Sunday against the Ravens could help him get back on track, but until we see it happen, he should be treated as a WR3/flex in fantasy football.
Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington has looked impressive on the field through the first two games of the season. On Sunday, Washington hauled in seven of his 12 targets for 98 yards in the loss to the Denver Broncos. The 24-year-old has quickly become the top dog in Jacksonville. His role could get even bigger with fellow wideout Jakobi Meyers (thumb) listed as limited on the injury report to begin the week.
Washington is expected to remain as the focal point in the passing attack against the New England Patriots in Week 3. He has done enough to be treated as a WR1 heading into this tough matchup this weekend.
