Alex's fantasy football WR waiver wire pickups for Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season. Free agent wide receivers to add, stream, and stash off waivers.
Welcome back, RotoBallers, to our Week 10 edition of fantasy football wide receiver waiver wire pickups. The injury bug has hit hard across the last month, and Week 9 was no different, with another slew of ailing stars to give fantasy managers fits. In particular, the situation down in Jacksonville is getting quite hairy -- more on that below.
Even with all the injuries, receivers were much more fortunate across this slate of games than they were the last. In Week 8, just one pass-catcher eclipsed the century mark -- a stark contrast to the seven that did so this week. Still, it feels like No. 2 receivers are misrepresented in 2025. On that note, let's dig in and try to excavate a few diamonds in the rough.
Fantasy managers can find the crop of wideouts listed below to be available in greater than 50% of leagues. As always, the players featured are highlighted in priority order, with PPR formats assumed. Please consider your league's scoring settings before staking a claim, and be sure to check out RotoBaller's other waiver wire articles for all your positional needs. Happy hunting!

Wide Receiver Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups
Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars - 18% rostered
I knew Parker Washington was getting a few paragraphs in the Week 10 edition of this column as soon as hybrid teammate Travis Hunter (knee) went down with an injury mid-week at practice. Since then, the case to add him has only solidified. The 23-year-old pulled in 8-of-9 targets for 90 yards in Jacksonville's 30-29 win against the Raiders, leading the team in each category.
Washington was trending toward being the leading receiver anyway, and that outcome was aided when Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) left the game with an ankle injury. What's next for Thomas Jr. is uncertain. As for Hunter, he'll sit for at least the next four games as the team quickly placed him on injured reserve. In the meantime, Washington figures to operate as the team's first option.
Despite his role in the short area, Washington is not a slot-only archetype. It may not be the sexiest of plays, but he's one of the more critical pickups for the week ahead, and gets a nice bump in PPR formats.
Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers - 29% rostered
Aside from the Falcons, there might not be a more puzzling team in 2025 than the Green Bay Packers. At times, they've looked unstoppable. Others? Well, their only two losses this season are to the Cleveland Browns and the Carolina Panthers. Despite one of the offense's rougher outings of the campaign in Sunday's bout with Carolina, it's still one we're betting on.

Christian Watson again saw precisely four targets (2/58), although his snap share went up considerably. Whether he was ready for a larger workload or not, the team was forced to react when teammates Tucker Kraft (knee) and Matthew Golden (shoulder) left mid-game with injuries. Golden is likely due for more testing, but the worst is feared for Kraft -- a torn ACL.
As of now, Green Bay might be without both for a primetime matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles next Monday night. Better days are ahead for the Pack's passing attack, and Watson should slot in as a top-two option in the offense for at least as long as Golden is forced to sit.
Troy Franklin, Denver Broncos - 48% rostered
Troy Franklin has been a staple on this list for most of the campaign, and I'm recommending him again despite a down week. The California native was coming off a career performance in Week 8, although he wasn't able to build off of it in Sunday's strange 18-15 win over the hosting Texans.
Franklin led the team in targets for the third straight game, but again had trouble connecting with Bo Nix on deep passes while a suffocating Houston defense offered little relief. Even with the minimal output (4/27), he continues to get looks in the screen game, as well as rush attempts.
I love that head coach Sean Payton keeps feeding the Oregon product the ball. It hasn't always borne fruit, but the usage is there. He's a passable WR3 with the potential for boom games when the Broncos' offense is right.
Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts - 26% rostered
I finally laid off the Colts' wide receivers in last week's feature, but Alec Pierce has forced my hand again for Week 10. Indianapolis was steamrolling teams, though Sunday was a different story as they fell to the Steelers 27-20. Daniel Jones looked to be in over his head, but still found a way to support three fantasy-relevant pass-catchers.
Despite not writing him up, I'd decided earlier in the week that Pierce was the Colts' wideout I was pushing my chips in on this season. If you'd have asked me that a year ago, the answer would have been his teammate Josh Downs. I like the former's involvement, and it's clear he's upped his game.
I still expect some irregularities here on a week-to-week basis. However, when healthy, Pierce has played as many snaps as running mate Michael Pittman Jr., and sometimes more. Pittman Jr. is the unquestioned No. 1 option in Indy, but Pierce is emerging as a nice compliment.
In an ideal world, the Colts want to establish and perpetuate the run, so the former Cincinnati Bearcat will be prone to outings like he had in Week 8 (2/56). Still, he's racked up at least 98 yards and ten or more targets in two of the last three games.
Deeper Wide Receiver Fantasy Football Pickups
DeMario Douglas, New England Patriots - 4% rostered
DeMario Douglas popped off as the Patriots barely eked out the Falcons 24-23, piling up a sixth consecutive victory in the process. Fellow wide receiver Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) exited early with an injury, allowing Douglas to pick up 100 yards and a touchdown on 4-of-6 receiving.
The yardage total was a career-high, while his reception and target figures tied him for the team lead.

While the performance is encouraging, particularly with Boutte out of the contest, this situation isn't as cut-and-dry as it seems. For starters, Douglas didn't even place third in snaps, as Mack Hollins, Stefon Diggs, and Kyle Williams all ran ahead of him. Williams may not do so weekly, but it's a nod to the slight volatility here.
Another concern is that New England used 11 personnel at the league's fifth-lowest rate (47.22%) heading into Week 9. If Boutte misses time, that won't be a problem. If he doesn't, the 24-year-old will find it challenging to push Diggs from the slot. He's the only other wideout on the team to clear 70 snaps from that alignment (116).
All in all, Douglas' dependability will be reliant on how long Boutte is affected by his hamstring injury. If the latter misses a game or more, the former moves up in the pecking order. I like him over Hollins for the rest of the season either way.
Tory Horton, Seattle Seahawks - 5% Rostered
Sunday night's matchup between the Seahawks and Commanders quickly got out of hand, as Seattle jumped out to a 21-0 lead and never looked back. All this, while the team was down veteran wide receiver Cooper Kupp (hamstring, heel).
Kupp appeared on the injury report this week with two ailments, his hamstring being the one that ultimately forced him to miss the 38-14 win.
Rookie receiver Tory Horton was an admirable stand-in in his stead, collecting all four of his targets for 48 yards and two scores. The 22-year-old's highlight of the day was a 25-yard over-the-shoulder touchdown in which he immediately shook his defender at the line of scrimmage and torched him. It's a shame this game wasn't more competitive.

As it stands, the severity of Kupp's injury is unknown, and we may not get a clear picture of his designation for Week 10's home date with the Arizona Cardinals until later in the week. In the meantime, Horton is the next man up behind superstar teammate Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The volume could be suspect, but Sam Darnold hasn't been shy about targeting him in the end zone.
Olamide Zaccheaus, Chicago Bears - 1% rostered
Chicago's ground attack has been superb over the last month or so. Their passing game, however, hasn't been firing on all cylinders. Still, they've won three of their previous four, and Olamide Zaccheaus has made a splash in back-to-back contests.
Zaccheaus notched his second consecutive outing with at least six receptions in Week 9's 47-42 barnburner with their division-rival Bengals. The University of Virginia product's 6/58/1 line isn't world-beating, but the eight targets were good enough for the team lead, and his catch total tied him with tight end Colston Loveland in the same regard.
Fantasy managers can consider Zaccheaus as a low-end flex option, though he'll be difficult to trust outside of deeper leagues. While Chicago isn't stingy in terms of their utilization of three-wide-receiver sets, they tend to lean more run-heavy than what bodes well for a third wideout.
