Predictions - Matchday 14
Ecuador 0 vs Germany 4
Curaçao 0 vs Côte d'Ivoire 3
Tunisia 0 vs Netherlands 5
Japan 2 vs Sweden 1
Turkey 0 vs United States 2
Paraguay 0 vs Australia 1
Knockout Stage Scenarios:
Group D:
- Paraguay vs Australia competing for Group D runners-up
Group E:
- Curaçao vs Côte d'Ivoire match is what matters. Côte d'Ivoire controls its fate, and a win clinches runners-up for Group E. A draw is possible to move through, but it will pose a risk. They will push for a win, which should be manageable.
- Germany is resting multiple players. They will most likely start Deniz Undav, David Raum, Angelo Stiller, Maximilian Beier, Oliver Baumann, and more. The starting XI here is projected for a minimum of 70 minutes.
Group F:
- The entire group is up for grabs besides Tunisia
- A win for the Netherlands and they clinch the group. A draw for the Netherlands, and they would also need Japan to draw.
- It is expected that the Netherlands will go up a few goals by the 30-minute mark and will run the majority of their subs at half if they have a comfortable lead. The scores are there, but they will have borrowed time for the starting XI.
- Japan vs Sweden will be one of the best matches to watch out of all three groups tomorrow. Sweden is in a difficult situation, possibly having a better Knockout Stage fixture if they lose.
EPL DFS Goalies
Patrick Beach - DK $4.2K || FD $10
Opponent - vs. Paraguay
Patrick Beach and the rest of Group D are now two matches in and playing the final match before the Knockout Stage starts. In his two starts thus far, he has made nine saves, conceded twice, and recorded one clean sheet. Furthermore, in 35 appearances for Melbourne City FC in all competitions this past season, Beach managed 82 saves, 41 goals conceded, and 11 clean sheets.
Paraguay is creating plenty of chances across their two fixtures, but they are averaging only one goal per 90 minutes. The floor is there for Beach from shot volume alone. In a crucial fixture to tie up Group D runners-up, Beach and company are projected to maintain value.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Oliver Baumann (DK $5.2K || FD $11) vs. Ecuador
- Kristoffer Nordfeldt (DK $4.1K || FD $8) vs. Japan
EPL DFS Forwards
Amad Diallo - DK $6.7K || FD $19
Opponent - vs. Curaçao
Amad Diallo will have many opportunities to produce one of the highest fantasy performances on the slate in this prime matchup against Group E bottom-dwellers, Curaçao. The Blue Wave is coming off a shocking 0-0 draw with Ecuador, where they hung on to a sliver of hope. However, in their first fixture, they were dominated by Germany in a 7-1 loss. They could once again be pushed to the brink in this matchup.
Diallo has produced one goal, three shots, three chances created, two crosses, two corners, three tackles, and two interceptions in his first two matches–one start–in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He also generated two goals, three assists, 53 shots, 41 chances created, 45 crosses, 15 corners, 38 tackles, 17 interceptions, and 29 clearances in 32 appearances–27 starts–for Manchester United in the English Premier League this past season. For his salary and his role in open-play and on set pieces, the winger is projected for a ceiling performance.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Deniz Undav (DK $8.7K || FD $21) vs. Ecuador
- Julio Enciso (DK $8K || FD $19) vs. Australia

EPL DFS Midfielders
Yasin Ayari - DK $6.4K || FD $19
Opponent - vs. Japan
Regardless of a win or a loss, Yasin Ayari and the rest of the Blågult will sit in the top three of Group F. The more interesting note is a loss would possibly secure them an ‘easier’ Round of 32 fixture with the likes of Germany, the United States, Switzerland, and Mexico as potential opponents, versus Brazil if they were to win. Nevertheless, Ayari is fully in charge of set pieces with teammate and fellow midfielder Benjamin Nygren not expected to start. At $6.4K on DraftKings, it makes it rather achievable for Ayari to reach value at a minimum.
Japan has beaten Tunisia 4-0 and drawn 2-2 with the Netherlands. Neither fixture’s outcome was an extreme surprise for most. However, Sweden was dominated in a 5-1 loss to the Netherlands in a shocking blundering. Whether Sweden shows up or not, Ayari will be tasked with dictating the pace, transitions, and more.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Junya Ito (DK $7.5K || FD $16) vs. Sweden
- Aiden O’Neill (DK $3K || FD $14) vs. Paraguay

EPL DFS Defenders
David Raum - DK $6.4K || FD $11
Opponent - vs. Ecuador
David Raum is the ‘lock’ of the slate. The wingback will make his first start in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, while Germany's starting XI rests heading into the Knockout Stage. Raum is expected to be the majority shareholder for Germany’s set pieces in this final Group Stage fixture. For those who have been following daily, you can use Achraf Hakimi of Morocco from yesterday as a comparison.
In 30 appearances–29 starts–for RB Leipzig of the German Bundesliga last season, Raum produced three goals, seven assists, 24 shots, 96 chances created, 252 crosses, 141 corners, 48 tackles, 30 interceptions, and 104 clearances. In his 17 minutes of fame in the 7-1 win over Curaçao, Raum managed one shot, two crosses, one corner, and one interception. Out of all projected starting XIs, Raum is the highest-salaried defender on DraftKings. Despite the high salary, he is projected to reach his ceiling in this prime matchup.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Ghislain Konan (DK $4.3K || FD $11) vs. Curaçao
- Joe Scally (DK $3.5K || FD $7) vs. Turkey
Corner Takers
- Ecuador: Moisés Caicedo/Gonzalo Plata
- Germany: David Raum
- Curaçao: Leandro Bacuna
- Côte d'Ivoire: Amad Diallo/Yan Diomande
- Tunisia: Anis Ben Slimane
- Netherlands: Tijjani Reijnders
- Japan: Junya Ito
- Sweden: Yasin Ayari
- Turkey: Arda Güler/Hakan Çalhanoğlu
- United States: Malik Tillman
- Paraguay: Julio Enciso
- Australia: Aiden O’Neill
