The Colorado Rockies announced on Tuesday that they placed rookie right-handed reliever Zach Agnos on the bereavement list and recalled right-hander Angel Chivilli from Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move. Agnos will be away from the team for at least a couple days and probably won't rejoin the club until Friday for their series opener at Coors Field against the New York Mets. The 24-year-old has quickly earned the trust of the coaching staff in high-leverage situations in his first year in the big leagues. Agnos picked up his fourth save of the season in the win on Monday over the Miami Marlins and has become one of Colorado's best bets for saves chances in the unlikely event that they pop up (the Rockies have just 10 wins all season). With Agnos away for a few days, Seth Halvorsen or Jake Bird could be called upon if the Rockies have another save situation between now and Friday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
