Emmanuel Sanders 2019 Outlook: Final Ride for this Bronco?
6 years agoEmmanuel Sanders has now had back-to-back seasons where he has missed time due to injury. While on the field, his numbers have fallen due to poor play from the quarterback position as well. The latest injury (Achilles) has long recovery time and is something that owners should factor in as they prepare for drafts. With Sanders not expected to be ready until July, he will ultimately start off the 2019 season slowly. With new QB Joe Flacco under center as well, he is missing out on quality snaps to develop a connection. Gone will be the days of Sanders as a starting caliber player in fantasy. With younger players on the roster in Courtland Sutton and Daesean Hamilton, facing the 21st ranked schedule, and on a team that will likely be more run-based, Sanders could be in store for a long year. His current ADP as WR37 is still a little high and should come down as the summer progresses. He should only be viewed as a matchup play type of fantasy asset in 2019.
