Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand (undisclosed) did not play in the third period of Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Panthers head coach Paul Maurice told reporters postgame that Marchand is dealing with a lingering issue. "He's been dealing with something," Maurice said. "It just got to the point we didn't want to make it worse. We're a little sensitive about injuries here now and do our best to keep guys healthy. So, that was a coach's decision." Marchand has so far missed only one game this season. He recently had a 10-game point streak and has been a regular scorer all year, leading the Panthers with 46 points (23 goals, 23 assists) in 41 games.--Taavi Pailk
