MLB DFS Picks Today: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings (6/18/25)

CeeGee's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Wednesday, 6/18/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Happy Wednesday Rotoballers! Today we have an 11-game main slate starting at 7:05 PM ET, packed with juicy matchups and some weather concerns to navigate. Pitching options are stacked, with aces like Chris Sale and Framber Valdez leading the way, but there’s value to be found, too.

Hitters have plenty of upside in hitter-friendly parks like Great American Ball Park and Yankee Stadium, but rain could shake things up in Cincinnati, St. Louis, and Chicago. Keep an eye on lineups and weather reports, especially for those Midwest games.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/18/2025, with the slate starting at 7:05 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Chris Sale - ATL vs. NYM (DK: $10,700; FD: $10,800)

Sale’s been a strikeout machine, rocking a 31.3% K-rate against righties and 34.8% against lefties. Facing the Mets at Truist Park, he’s got a dream matchup. New York’s lineup, even with studs like Francisco Lindor and Juan Soto, strikes out at a 22% clip against lefties. Sale’s last six starts averaged 7.7 Ks, and he’s gone at least 5.2 innings in each. His 19.96 DK points projection makes him a cash game lock, and his GPP upside is massive with double-digit strikeout potential. The weather’s clear in Atlanta, so no worries here.

Framber Valdez - HOU @ ATH (DK: $10,500; FD: $10,300)

Valdez is a groundball wizard (61.1% GB rate) and brings a 24% K-rate against righties to a pristine matchup against the Athletics. Oakland’s lineup, featuring Brent Rooker and Lawrence Butler, struggles against lefties, with a .302 wOBA and 24.5% K-rate. Valdez’s 20.72 DK points projection is elite, and Sutter Health Park’s hitter-friendly dimensions could lead to weak contact that he turns into double plays. He’s a cash and GPP stud, especially on FanDuel, where his price is slightly softer.

Kris Bubic - KC @ TEX (DK: $9,500; FD: $10,100)

Bubic’s a sneaky value play with a 28.9% K-rate against righties and a stingy .235 wOBA allowed. The Rangers, despite Corey Seager and Adolis Garcia, have a middling .316 wOBA against lefties and strike out 22% of the time. Bubic’s last six starts averaged 7.4 Ks, and his 21.52 DK points projection screams upside at Globe Life Field, where the roof eliminates weather concerns. He’s a GPP pivot on DK, where his price saves you salary compared to Sale or Valdez.

SP Value Play: Bailey Ober - MIN @ CIN (DK: $7,600; FD: $8,100)

Ober’s 25.1% K-rate against righties and 9.55 DK points projection make him a steal against a Reds lineup that strikes out 24% against RHP. Great American Ball Park boosts his upside, but monitor the rain.

Also Consider:

Sonny Gray - STL @ CWS (DK: $9,700; FD: $10,400): Gray’s 29.7% K-rate against righties is elite, and the White Sox are a strikeout-heavy lineup (25% K-rate vs. RHP). Weather’s dicey in Chicago, so monitor rain risks. Great GPP option if the game plays.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Elly De La Cruz - CIN vs. MIN (DK: $6,200; FD: $4,000)

De La Cruz is a GPP darling with 30+ HR power and 50+ SB speed. Facing Bailey Ober, who’s allowed a .354 ISO to lefties in his last six starts, De La Cruz’s .362 xwOBA and .255 ISO against righties make him a home run threat. Great American Ball Park’s short porch boosts his power, but rain’s a concern, so check weather updates.

Jose Ramirez - CLE @ SF (DK: $5,900; FD: $3,700)

Ramirez faces Justin Verlander, who’s struggled with a .355 wOBA to righties. J-Ram’s .326 xwOBA and .229 ISO against righties fit Oracle Park’s sneaky hitter-friendly gaps. His 9.30 DK points projection is solid, and his $3,700 FD price is a bargain for cash games. He’s a safe floor play with HR upside in a low-owned GPP stack.

Infield Value Play: Maikel Garcia - KC @ TEX (DK: $4,500; FD: $3,200)

Garcia’s .298 xwOBA against lefties and leadoff spot make him a bargain versus Patrick Corbin’s .361 wOBA allowed to righties. Solid floor for cash games, especially on FanDuel.

Also Consider:

Bobby Witt Jr. - KC @ TEX (DK: $5,400; FD: $3,800): Witt’s .394 xwOBA against lefties crushes Corbin, who’s allowed a .361 wOBA to righties. Elite cash game play, especially on FanDuel.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Aaron Judge - NYY vs. LAA (DK: $6,600; FD: $5,100)

Judge is a beast against lefties like Ryan Yarbrough, boasting a .472 xwOBA and .351 ISO. Yankee Stadium’s short right-field porch screams home run, and Judge’s 13.73 DK points projection is massive. Yarbrough’s 16.2% K-rate against righties won’t slow him down. Lock him into cash games on both sites and expect 2+ XBH in GPPs.

Shohei Ohtani - LAD vs. SD (DK: $6,500; FD: $4,700)

Ohtani’s a must-play at Dodger Stadium against Stephen Kolek, who’s allowed a .335 wOBA to lefties. Ohtani’s .472 xwOBA and .392 ISO against righties are absurd, and his 16.21 DK points projection leads all hitters. He’s a cash game staple on both sites, especially on FanDuel, where his $4,700 price is a steal for his power-speed combo. The Padres’ bullpen is shaky, boosting his multi-hit, multi-RBI upside.

Kyle Tucker - CHC vs. MIL (DK: $6,300; FD: $4,100)

Tucker’s .412 xwOBA against righties is elite, and Jacob Misiorowski’s 37.5% BB-rate to lefties spells trouble. Wrigley’s wind could favor lefty power, but rain’s a risk, so confirm game status. Tucker’s 9.51 DK points projection makes him a cash game lock on FanDuel at $4,100 and a GPP stud on DK.

Ronald Acuna Jr. - ATL vs. NYM (DK: $6,400; FD: $4,200)

Acuna faces Paul Blackburn, who’s allowed a .386 wOBA to righties. Acuna’s .383 xwOBA and .163 ISO against righties, plus his 40+ SB speed, give him a sky-high ceiling. Truist Park’s dimensions favor his gap power, and his 10.80 DK points projection is perfect for GPPs. He’s a bit pricey for cash but worth it in tournaments.

Outfield Value Play: Jake Meyers - HOU @ ATH (DK: $4,000; FD: $2,700)

Meyers’ .318 xwOBA against righties and spot in Houston’s lineup pop against Luis Severino’s .335 wOBA to lefties. Sutter Health Park’s hitter-friendly setup adds value for GPPs.

Also Consider:

Corbin Carroll - ARI @ TOR (DK: $6,100; FD: $4,000): Carroll’s .323 xwOBA and .185 ISO against lefties like Eric Lauer pop at Rogers Centre. Great GPP play with stolen base upside.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. SD (Kolek)

Kolek’s 19.1% K-rate and .335 wOBA allowed to lefties make the Dodgers’ top bats a prime stack. Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, and Kike Hernandez are the core, with Ohtani and Freeman crushing righties. Dodger Stadium’s neutral park factors don’t deter their power, and the Padres’ bullpen is vulnerable late. Perfect for both DK (deeper lineups) and FD (higher-scoring format).

New York Yankees vs. LAA (Yarbrough)

Yarbrough’s .330 wOBA to righties is a green light for Judge, Paul Goldschmidt, Jazz Chisholm Jr., and Giancarlo Stanton. Yankee Stadium’s short porch boosts their HR upside, and the Angels’ bullpen is a gas can. This stack is cash-friendly on FD due to lower salaries and a GPP monster on DK for its ceiling.

Cincinnati Reds vs. MIN (Ober)

Ober’s .378 wOBA to lefties in his last six starts makes De La Cruz, TJ Friedl, and Jake Fraley a high-upside stack at Great American Ball Park. The Reds’ speed and power combo thrives in this hitter’s paradise, but rain’s a concern, so monitor the weather.

Value Stack: Kansas City Royals vs. TEX (Corbin)

Target Witt Jr., Garcia, Vinnie Pasquantino, and Salvador Perez against Corbin’s .361 wOBA to righties. Globe Life Field’s controlled environment ensures play, making this a high-floor, low-owned GPP stack on both DK and FD.
