Recent Update

9/3:Tampa Bay Rays reliever Ryan Yarbrough continued his reign as the king of the relief victory in 2018 on Sunday versus the Indians. He came in after the opener and went five innings allowing only one run. He would earn the win to move his amazing season total to 13. He is the first pitcher to win 13 games while making at least 75% of their outings from the bullpen since 1990. It was difficult at first to figure out what player was going to benefit the most from the unorthodox system of using openers and relievers but with 13 wins, it seems clear that Yarbrough has been taking advantage. Yarbrough is still hard to trust in shallower leagues but he has forced his way into relevancy in deeper formats.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller
