Andrei Iosivas, Zay Flowers, Mark Andrews: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 13

Mark Andrews - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Should I start Andrei Iosivas, Zay Flowers, Mark Andrews for Week 13? Fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks and recommendations for the 2025 NFL season.

The Baltimore Ravens will take on the Cincinnati Bengals in a Thanksgiving Day divisional battle for Week 13. These two teams are likely to look quite different in these games than they did earlier in the season.

Both their starting quarterbacks, Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow (toe), will be healthy and active for the game. Of course, "healthy" in NFL terms doesn't always mean feeling great, as players play through injuries all the time.

But it's good news for their passing attacks. Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas, Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers, and his teammate, tight end Mark Andrews, all stand to benefit from their QB1s taking the field. But should you start Iosivas, Flowers, and Andrews for fantasy football in Week 13?

Should I Start Andrei Iosivas for Fantasy Football?

In Week 12, Iosivas saw increased target volume due to the absence of the team's WR1, Ja'Marr Chase. And in Week 13, he'll likely have an elevated role because WR Tee Higgins (concussion) has already been ruled out. Iosivas will serve as the WR2 alongside Chase.

A week ago, "Yoshi", as they call him, was targeted seven times by QB Joe Flacco, and caught four passes for 61 yards, totaling 10.1 PPR fantasy points. He was the most productive Bengals pass-catcher on the day, as Higgins only gained 31 receiving yards before getting injured.

As far as an evaluation for Iosivas, he's an excellent athlete, but his problem has always been his hands failing him. He struggles quite a bit with drops. That being said, the Ravens are a very tough matchup for tight ends and much more vulnerable to receivers.

With Burrow back and a horrible defense, the Bengals should be forced to pass quite a bit and be successful in that pursuit. A detonation is probably incoming from Chase, but it's not like every target can go to him. Iosivas is worth a flex start in 12-team and larger PPR leagues for his projected volume in a good offense.

Should I Start Zay Flowers for Fantasy Football?

Flowers is the definition of a high floor, low ceiling receiver. He's been a fantasy WR2 or WR3 his entire career, constantly falling outside the top-15 yet still being startable as a flex. Though he's a consistent and reliable separator, he's just 5-foot-9 on a team with much better red zone threats.

Along with Andrews, the team has two more tight ends that are much bigger targets for TDs nearer the goal line. In addition, their WR2, Rashod Bateman, is 6-foot-1, they have one of the best running backs in the history of the NFL in the big bruiser Derrick Henry, and their quarterback Jackson is an elite rusher.

Part of being such a short receiver is disappearing nearer the goal line. He's capable of scoring touchdowns, but he usually has to run them in from further out. The Bengals have a very poor defense, so he can still have a fine day, but it's an uphill battle to reach 20 PPR fantasy points.

Flowers can be started as a flex, like always. He's scored between 11 and 15 PPR fantasy points in each of his last five game.

Should I Start Mark Andrews for Fantasy Football?

Andrews has played better after a slow start to the season -- in his last five games, the contests after the team's bye week, he averages just over 10.0 PPR fantasy points after averaging just under 8.5 in his first six games. He had under 2.0 points in his first two contests, which was especially painful.

And last week, he finished with only one catch for nine yards and 2.1 total fantasy points thanks to a running play. It's a frustrating prospect having a Ravens tight end. Luckily for him, the Bengals defense is historically bad at slowing down tight ends.

The Bengals have allowed an absurd 19.5 half-PPR fantasy points to tight ends per game this season. That's 7.4 points higher than second place. They're on pace to allow the most points to tight ends this century, which is an impressive achievement.

So Andrews should be started. He'll likely get lost in coverage multiple times, and it's the most likely he'll be to score a touchdown all season, according to my analysis.
