Week 10 Defense (DST) Rankings Outlooks

Seattle Seahawks D/ST

The Seattle Seahawks D/ST is a quality option in Week 10 against the Arizona Cardinals. This defense continues to get healthier, with most of its top options available this week. Additionally, Arizona's offense does not inspire a whole lot of confidence. Although Cardinals backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett has brought a new level of respectability to the unit, the Cardinals are still susceptible to sacks and negative plays that are a dream for D/STs in fantasy.

There should be plenty of opportunities for Seattle's defense to create both in Week 10. They may even be able to force a turnover or two with their swarming mentality. While the Seahawks D/ST is not No. 1 in the league, they have been virtually matchup-proof. This unit has scored less than 8 fantasy points just once this season. That does not figure to change in Week 10. Start the Seahawks D/ST with confidence this week.

Buffalo Bills D/ST

The Buffalo Bills' defense has been aggressive following their Week 7 bye, and should continue their dominance against divisional rival Miami on Sunday. The Bills have 10 sacks and five turnovers forced over their last two games, and a mistake-prone Tua Tagovailoa could set them up with another big day. Tagovailoa has thrown 11 interceptions and fumbled six times this season, which an aggressive defense can feast on.

Defensive end Joey Bosa practiced fully on Friday, giving the team's most explosive pass rusher a green light for Sunday. Despite the losses of A.J. Epenesa (concussion) and Shaq Thompson (hamstring), the Bills' defense has more than enough firepower to stifle the Dolphins and put up a big day for fantasy owners.

Cleveland Browns D/ST

The Cleveland Browns defense will come out of its bye to take on the New York Jets on the road in Week 10. The Jets have been unwilling to name their starting quarterback for Week 10, but they are generally expected to give Justin Fields the nod over Tyrod Taylor.

Regardless of who is under center for the Jets, the Cleveland defense will draw a plus matchup against a New York offense that is allowing the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing D/STs this season. The Browns draw an excellent matchup for fantasy in Week 10 and are on the radar as a top-12 fantasy option this weekend.

Detroit Lions D/ST

The Detroit Lions' defense has been a roughly mid-pack unit from a scoring perspective this season, ranking 13th in the NFL by allowing 22.3 points per game. However, Detroit has been able to force 12 turnovers across eight games and features one of the league's premier edge rushers in Aidan Hutchinson, who has recorded seven sacks and 16 QB hits so far in 2025. The Lions will face a banged-up Washington Commanders offense in Week 10.

Washington will be starting veteran Marcus Mariota at quarterback with Jayden Daniels (elbow) out due to an elbow injury. Star Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quad) will also miss Week 10 with a lingering quad issue. It's worth noting that the Lions will remain without All-Pro safety Kerby Joseph (knee) and top cornerback D.J. Reed (hamstring) against Washington. Still, Detroit's D/ST profiles as a low-end starting fantasy unit against the shorthanded Commanders in Week 10.

Who Should I Start? Who Should I Sit? Some common Week 10 fantasy football lineup decisions are regarding defense options like Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, Carolina Panthers, and New England Patriots. But not to worry, we are here to help make these decisions and build winning lineups in Week 10.

Week 10 Player Decisions. Set your optimal fantasy football lineups for Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season. Our free Who Should I Start? tool will help make your fantasy football lineup decisions. Compare up to four NFL players, and we tell you who to start... all free! Get your winning lineups set, and make the right decisions.

Using The Tool. This is a simple tool but very powerful. The first step is to enter the player names that you want to compare. In the first box, search for the first player's name. In the second box, search for the second player's name. Compare up to four NFL players at once, and then click the Who To Start? button to see who the recommended starts are based on weekly fantasy football matchups.

Improvements For Who Should I Start? You may have noticed, we've added lots of great features for you to give you as much information as possible to win your fantasy football matchups each week. You'll see NFL player tiles with headshots and bye weeks, enhanced search results with data to compare, and a slick new interface. We hope you enjoy!

How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings and projections based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this tool. When you search for player names, you will only see those players who are ranked. If someone is out for the week, they will not appear in the search results.

Scoring Formats. Fantasy football managers play in various types of leagues, and this tool allows you to choose whether it's PPR scoring, Half-PPR scoring, or Standard (Non-PPR) scoring. The second thing you want to do is to select the scoring format. There are three small radio buttons (small circles), so click on the scoring format you prefer. The results may vary based on the scoring format you select.
