Zach Agnos Tallies Save No. 3
Zach Agnos earned his third save of his major league career during their 3-2 victory over the New York Yankees on Friday evening. Agnos allowed one walk, but did not allow a hit or a run. He did not tally a strikeout. Since earning the promotion to the majors, Agnos has been viewed as the top ninth-inning option in Colorado. Through his first 14 innings of work in the big leagues, Agnos has tallied three saves, two holds, and held a 1.29 ERA with a 0.93 WHIP. Under the hood, the 24-year-old has generated a 3.26 xERA and a .267 xBA, which suggests he will likely see some regression throughout the summer. He remains a target for saves in deeper 14+ team formats, but pitching on the Rockies will not provide him with many consistent save opportunities.
