Zach Agnos Snags Fourth Save
Zach Agnos picked up his fourth save of the season in Monday's 6-4 road victory against the Miami Marlins. The Virginia native fired 7-of-11 pitches for strikes, yielding just one hit (single). Agnos let up a home run in his appearance against the New York Mets on Sunday, so it was nice to see him bounce back with a scoreless outing. He's been perfect thus far, converting all four of his save chances. Unfortunately, he doesn't project to be afforded many opportunities in 2025 with Colorado on a historically dreadful pace. Still, the 24-year-old has been excellent -- sporting a 1.50 ERA and 0.83 WHIP over 16 appearances (18 innings). Agnos hasn't quite found a groove strikeout-wise (11.9%), but his splitter (38.3%) and sweeper (37.5%) are garnering whiffs at a strong rate.
