Zach Agnos Placed on 15-Day Injured List
The Colorado Rockies have placed right-handed reliever Zach Agnos (elbow) on the 15-day injured list with a flexor strain, per a team announcement. Agnos suffered the injury during a rough appearance in an 18-0 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday. After Agnos allowed four earned runs on two hits and two walks over one-third of an inning, he began shaking his right arm and exited into the dugout. It didn't look good for the 24-year-old rookie, who got off to a hot start through May but has endured a severe slump since then. Having surrendered at least one earned run in 12 of his past 14 appearances, Agnos heads to the IL with a sky-high 6.98 ERA, a 1.58 WHIP, 17 strikeouts, 16 walks, four saves, and three holds in 29 2/3 innings.
