Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Pulled With Hamstring Tightness
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (hamstring) left Monday's series opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates early due to left-hamstring tightness, according to the team. Guerrero was replaced by Ty France at first base after going 0-for-2 with an RBI and a strikeout. Fantasy managers will be holding their breathe while Guerrero undergoes additional testing on his hamstring. We should know more on the severity of the 26-year-old's injury either later on Monday or Tuesday morning. But if he is forced to miss extended time, France would be the one to benefit the most in Toronto with regular playing time at first base. Vladdy Jr. has been a must-start in fantasy again in 2025 and came into Monday's tilt with a cool .300/.398/.500 slash line, .898 OPS, 21 home runs, 68 RBI, 83 runs and five stolen bases in 464 at-bats.
