7 years agoFree-agent quarterback Geno Smith visited with the Los Angeles Chargers on Wednesday, according to a source. Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn has been a fan of Smith. Smith spent 2017 as a backup in New York, playing in two games with the Giants with one touchdown and two interceptions. He was previously with the Jets for four years to start his career and was a major bust. The Bolts are looking for a backup to Philip Rivers with Kellen Clemens being a free agent.
