Although Chase Elliott stumbled his way into the Round of 12 in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, he's going to need to do a lot more than that to make it to the next round. That might be difficult since he's starting 27th (by far the worst of the remaining playaoff drivers) at a track where it is notoriously difficult to pass. He'll almost certainly finish better than that - he typically does - but although he leads most races and led 41 laps from the pole last year, he's only actually finished better than 9th twice, which is unusual for him.
