Anthony Duclair Day-to-Day With Upper-Body Injury
New York Islanders winger Anthony Duclair (upper body) has been ruled out for Thursday's preseason game against the New York Rangers and is considered day-to-day. Duclair has sat out both of the Islanders' exhibition games so far, and his preseason debut will be further delayed due to an upper-body injury. The Islanders have three more preseason games after Thursday, starting with Friday's matchup versus the New Jersey Devils. Duclair will be eager to deliver a strong bounce-back season in 2025-26 after his struggles last year led to Islanders head coach Patrick Roy criticizing him publicly. The 30-year-old recorded 11 points (seven goals, four assists) in 44 games.
