Bubba Wallace's Handling Struggles Leaves him Behind the Playoff Cut Line
Bubba Wallace of 23XI Racing finished 26th during the Mobil 1 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday. The No. 23 Toyota driver struggled with the handling of his car throughout the entire race and could not get any track position or advance through the pack, even through pit road. In the first stage, Wallace finished 15th, while in the second stage, he finished 25th, meaning that he earned no stage points throughout the entire day. Wallace did keep his car running, but left with his second consecutive finish outside of the top 10 at New Hampshire. As a result, Wallace now sits with a sizable deficit to the playoff cut line of 27 points behind the final spot to advance to the next round of the playoffs with two races remaining in the Round of 12.
