Florida quarterback DJ Lagway (undisclosed) was spotted in a walking boot following Florida's 26-7 loss at Miami on Saturday night. The Gators have not disclosed the nature of his injury. Lagway was spotted in a walking boot during the offseason due to a calf strain in July. It is unknown if this injury is related. The Gators have a bye this week before facing off against 10th-ranked Texas in The Swamp on October 4. Unnamed sources close to Lagway say that he should be ready to go against Texas, and the boot is just a precaution. Lagway has completed 67.5% (83-of-123) of his passes in 2025 for 690 yards and five touchdowns. He has also thrown six interceptions, but five of those were against LSU.--Mike Marteny - RotoBaller
