Nick Bosa Diagnosed With Season-Ending Torn ACL
San Francisco 49ers All-Pro pass rusher Nick Bosa (knee) has been diagnosed with a torn ACL after leaving Sunday's win against the Cardinals, and his season is over. The former Defensive Player of the Year has struggled with injuries throughout his career, but he came into 2025 fully healthy and had been a game-wrecker through two-plus weeks, collecting two sacks and forcing as many fumbles. The 49ers' defense saw a mass exodus over the offseason, but has held up surprisingly well to start the year, allowing fewer than 16 points per game. Without Bosa, and with a more difficult schedule approaching, their DST becomes a less appealing play. For managers in IDP leagues, the loss of Bosa will sting, as he was once again looking to be a league winner.
