Chiefs Optimistic Xavier Worthy Will Play "Limited Role" in Week 4
Xavier Worthy (shoulder) will be able to "play a limited role" for the offense while "wearing a small harness" in Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid are confident the team can "continue to be successful on deep passes" with Tyquan Thornton running routes alongside Worthy. Thornton has taken over as the team's primary deep threat since Worthy dislocated his shoulder in the Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, and he's become an interesting short-term waiver-wire target with Rashee Rice still suspended for another three games. Worthy has missed the last two weeks. It sounds as though he has a real chance to play in Week 4, but with his snaps likely limited, he'll be an easy fade in fantasy if he's active.
