Fernando Tatis Jr. Likely to Miss Multiple Games
Fernando Tatis Jr. (illness) is expected to sit out with an illness until later this week, according to president of baseball operations A.J. Preller. After Tatis missed the Padres' playoff-clinching win over the Brewers on Monday, Preller said that the team is testing him for multiple illness, including "influenza and Covid." It's a situation that fantasy managers will have to monitor during the last several days of the regular season. Tatis has once again provided plenty of value this year with a .267/.367/.438 line, 23 homers, 66 RBI, and career highs in runs scored (108) and stolen bases (32) over 681 plate appearances.
