CeeDee Lamb Unlikely to Play in Week 4 on Sunday Night
CeeDee Lamb (ankle) suffered a high-ankle sprain early in his team's loss to the Bears on Sunday, and he is unlikely to suit up for the Cowboys' next game against the Packers in Week 4 on Sunday Night Football. The team plans to monitor his status over the next 10-14 days before determining his long-term status. Lamb left the game in the first quarter and attempted to return with a taped ankle, but managed only one additional snap before shutting it down for the rest of the game. The main benefactor of Lamb's absence was tight end Jake Ferguson, who made 13 grabs on 14 targets. Ferguson becomes a must-start, and WR George Pickens, who caught a touchdown in his second straight game, will likely become a focal point of the Cowboys' offense for as long as Lamb is sidelined.
