Although Chase Briscoe dominated the first round of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, he seems to be finishing better than he runs to an unsustainable degree as his consistent results and sporadic dominance are masking a lot of mediocre stints in the middle of the races before late race charges. He also did that last year at Loudon when he finished second after starting 23rd, but only had an average running position at 19th. Starting 18th today, it's possible he could do something like that again, but he was even worse in practice, where he posted the 26th fastest lap time and the 34th fastest speed. Briscoe might need strategy to get to the front. At the high price of $10,700, he might not be worth it (especially relative to his teammate Christopher Bell) but you should still consider it.--Sean Wrona - RotoBaller
