Ottawa Senators right wing Drake Batherson (upper body) has been ruled out for at least two weeks, according to head coach Travis Green. The versatile forward pulled an upper-body muscle in Tuesday's practice. Getting injured at any point in a season is tough for a player, but the two-week timeline at least gives Batherson hope that he can recover in time for opening night. The Senators begin play on Oct. 9 against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Batherson has posted three straight 60-point seasons, while averaging nearly 1.5 hits per game during that time.--Taavi Pailk
