Kyle Tucker Still has No Timetable to Return
Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Tucker (calf) still has no timetable to return from the 10-day injured list, according to Patrick Mooney of The Athletic. Tucker is dealing with a strained left calf that has kept him out since Sept. 2, though he resumed running on Monday and did some agility work on Tuesday. "There's probably a few more boxes that I got to check off before everyone's comfortable with me going out there," Tucker said, adding that he hopes "to get back out there as soon as possible." The Cubs, who have already clinched a playoff spot, have just five regular-season games remaining. Ideally, Tucker will return in the next few days, but Chicago won't rush him back before the postseason if he isn't at full strength. The 28-year-old earned his fourth straight All-Star invitation this season and has slashed .270/.381/.472 with 22 homers, 73 RBI, 89 runs, and 25 steals in 133 games and 585 plate appearances.
