Chiefs Defense Worth Starting In Week 8
The Kansas City Chiefs defense will take on the Washington Commanders at home in Week 8. The Chiefs shut out the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7 while also recovering a fumble and recording a sack. The Kansas City defense has been a top-10 defensive unit in fantasy points scored this season and should be in an advantageous matchup in Week 8. The Chiefs will face the Commanders without their starting quarterback, Jayden Daniels, this week. Kansas City is favored by nearly 12 points at home, and the Commanders have the third-lowest implied team total in Week 8. Marcus Mariota will fill in at quarterback for the Commanders. In his two starts earlier this season, Mariota took three sacks and threw one interception. The Chiefs defense is ranked the sixth-best defense in our RotoBaller rankings, making them a start-worthy unit on Monday night.
