Jalen Tolbert is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 9 of the 2024 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: A strong secondary option in the Dallas Cowboys offense is emerging in Jalen Tolbert. He has posted 27 catches for 334 yards and two touchdowns this season.
Facing the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9, the third-year player has a chance to make an impact again. With Brandin Cooks still on injured reserve, Tolbert's WR2 role is set. Quarterback Dak Prescott has been spreading the ball around to his playmakers.
Although CeeDee Lamb commands most of Prescott's attention, Tolbert has been dependable. He caught all three targets for 33 yards against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 8.

The former third-round draft pick is proving effective and is clearly in line for more work. While Tolbert may not offer the same upside as a WR1 or WR2 for fantasy, he can deliver value as a high-end flex option.
Managers should feel confident using Tolbert as a flex play in favorable matchups, especially when Dallas might lean on him more as Prescott searches for reliable targets in the passing game.
