Our favorite high-upside waiver wire bench stashes, fantasy football sleepers for Week 8 of 2025. Sneaky Waiver wire stashes include Sean Tucker, Devin Neal, Christian Watson, more.
During the fantasy football season, many managers look to stash high-upside lottery tickets on their bench who could become league winners over the final weeks.
Managers who went ahead and stashed players like Oronde Gadsden, Kimani Vidal, or Rachaad White were rewarded over the past few weeks as they have emerged as must-start players.
Who are the top stashes ahead of Week 8? Let's dive in!

High-Upside Waiver Wire Bench Stashes
Only players rostered in fewer than 30% of fantasy football leagues are considered potential streamers.
Sean Tucker, RB - TB
5% Rostered
While White has gotten much of the attention since Bucky Irving (foot) suffered an injury during their Week 4 loss to the Eagles, Sean Tucker has entered the stash conversation. Since Irving has been sidelined, White has dominated the backfield, logging over 80% of the total snaps in each of the past three games.
However, with Irving now slated to miss Week 9 and his injury not showing much improvement, Tucker could become a lottery ticket if White were to miss time. This week, head coach Todd Bowles said he wanted to increase Tucker's role in the offense to reduce White's massive workload and lower his risk for injury.
#Bucs HC Todd Bowles says that they want to get RB Sean Tucker more snaps. RB Rachaad White cannot continue getting 90% of them, and it’s something the coaches have talked about.

While Tucker will not hold standalone FLEX upside this weekend, he will carry immense upside if he were to enter the starting role.
Devin Neal, RB - NO
5% Rostered
The other running back to consider stashing was recently promoted to the No. 2 role. In their Week 7 loss to the Patriots, Kendre Miller suffered a torn ACL, which will keep him sidelined for the remainder of the campaign. As a result, the sixth-round rookie now stands at the clear No. 2 option behind veteran Alvin Kamara.
While Kamara does not appear to be a candidate to be traded at the deadline, he has not had his most effective season, and was already losing work to Miller. In each of his last three games, Kamara has not logged 12 or more carries and has only logged more than 65% of the total snaps in one contest.
Even though the Saints will likely monitor Neal's workload at the start, he could push for a timeshare similar to Miller's over the past month. Given Kamara's struggles and injury history, Neal is a priority stash before Week 8.
Christian Watson, WR - GB
10% Rostered
The former 34th overall pick nearly made it in his season debut last weekend, but appears to be poised to return to action in Week 8. Watson has been on the IR since suffering a torn ACL last season. However, given that he has recently returned to practice, Watson could return to his starting role in the Green Bay offense in the coming days.
With Jayden Reed (collarbone) likely out for the season and rookie Matthew Golden not drawing a high target share, Watson could immediately carve out a prominent role in this offense. In 2024, Watson tallied a career-best 620 yards on just 29 receptions.
Given his deep-play upside, Watson could emerge as a viable WR3 in standard formats as soon as he re-enters the starting lineup. He is a top target for managers looking for WR depth in three-WR formats.

Luther Burden III, WR - CHI
15% Rostered
The final player we will look at in this piece is a priority target for all managers. Bears rookie wideout Luther Burden has shown flashes of elite upside at times but has struggled to earn consistent playing time. In Week 3, Burden tallied 103 yards and punched in his first career touchdown. Then in Week 6, Burden paced all Chicago wideouts with 51 yards on four catches.
However, this past Sunday, Burden took the backseat, catching just one of his two targets for 22 yards. While he remains the No. 4 option on the depth chart, Olamide Zaccheaus saw his snap share decrease significantly in Week 7, suggesting Burden could be in store for a significant role going forward.
In this game, Zacchaeus logged just 51% of the snaps, a stark drop from the 84% he had in Week 6. Playing in an emerging offense, Burden could be a league-winner in the second half of the campaign, once he fully claims a starting role.
